I sighed when Barry and I sat down on the couch after we finished our meal. "Where do I start? My mother was sick. My dad was trying to help. You already know that. What you don't know is that he failed. And when I woke up one morning she was gone and all kinds of experimental stuff he had was gone, too. I was nine when my dad started to take me to doctors on a regular basis. He always said he wanted to make sure that I didn't have the same illness as mom." I explained and sighed. "So, your mom..." "Is probably dead." I whispered and I looked up to him. His features softened.
"Your dad talked about you being the cure to humanity. What do you think he meant?" He asked. "He was trying to get to me but I'm not gonna let him. Barry, I believe he created Silver Witch. And... And for that reason alone I will never ever believe a word that's coming out of him again. Alexander and Josephine Black are dead to me. They let people experiment on me, helped creating Silver Witch." I voiced and leaned back into the couch. "Silver Witch is a part of you now. You can't change that. You've got to learn how to live with it." Barry said and I nodded while sighing. "Will you help me?" I asked and he put his hand on my own. "Of course, Zoe. I'll be here for you. Every step of the way." He promised and I smiled widely.

In the late evening I was back at Star Labs. Harry showed me the way around. Again. "So, your mom... you said she died?" Harry asked and I sighed. "I'm not entirely sure. She must have died because of her illness." I said and we sat down in the lounge where I stayed most of the times. "What kind of illness did she have?" Harry asked. I tried to remember but I ended up staring at the table infront of me. "I- I don't know, Harry. I don't remember." I said and took a deep breath. "I'd really like to go to sleep, so.." Harry got up from the couch. "Of course." He said and left the lounge.
But instead of going to sleep I went to the bar and made myself a coffee. "So Barry is always gonna be there for us? Cute." A voice inside my head said and I shook my head quickly. "Leave me alone." I whispered and the cup I was putting down began to shake. "Never. Because like it or not I'll always be here, too." She spoke and the cup began to crack. "Just leave me alone." I whispered again and my hands went to my head.
"Sorry, not possible." She said in a teasing tone and I grunted. On the kitchen cabinets the cups began to shake and my breathing began to speed up. "I said leave me alone!" I yelled and the cups flew from the cabinets onto the ground. Tears in my eyes stung and I slid down onto the floor and pulled my knees to my body. Tears started to roll down my cheeks. I pulled my phone out of my jeans pocket and clicked on the distress button.
A few minutes later Cisco came through a portal and Barry sped next to him in his suit. "Are you okay? What happened here?" Cisco asked and I merely shook my head. "She's not leaving me alone." I whispered quietly and Cisco helped me get up. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause this. I'm so sorry." I said in a low voice and Barry already flashed around us and when I looked down onto the floor the broken pieces were gone.
We went into the cortex and Barry used a device to scan me. "Huh. Weird." I frowned and looked up to them. "No trace of meta human activity in your brain." Cisco said and I raised an eyebrow. "It means that Silver Witch isn't there." My eyes flashed and a voice said, "Ha, you wish." Barry and Cisco shared a look. "What did you do?" Cisco asked and the voice appeared again. "I am protecting myself. If I have to do so from all of you then so be it. Now let her sleep. I'll behave. I promise." She said.

The next morning I was at Jitters, waiting tables. Silver Witch hadn't made one snarky comment and I was glad about it. "Hey, Zoe. There is this woman, staring at you since you got here." My co-worker whispered in my ear and I nodded slightly before getting back to work.
When I finished several hours later I was still stared at and the woman rose from her seat and followed me outside. I went into a alley and looked around. "Hello, Storm...It's been a while." She said and I turned around to her. When I actually looked at her, I was speechless. "You... You're alive?" I whispered and she nodded.
The eyes glowed silver and the silver hair was in a braid. She tilted her head and sighed. "Tell me, Zoe... Where is your dad?" She asked and she looked up again. Now her eyes were green and her hair was light brown. "I don't know. I haven't seen him since I finally moved out." I lied and she smirked. "I wouldn't do that!" She said now louder, somewhat warningly but Barry sped next to me. In his suit of course. "Who are you?" He asked and the woman chuckled. "Isn't it obvious?" She asked and her hair went silver again. "Hello, Flash. I don't think we've been introduced. I'm Josephine Black. Or I was." She said and smirked. Then she stepped forwards and smirked. "My name is Echo." She said and suddenly I was pushed against a wall and Barry struggled to move. "I'm not asking again... Where is-" She was cut off by Killer Frost who used a blast of ice to stop Echo.
"You were finished, right?" She asked. I got back onto the ground again and Barry was able to move again and put cuffs on Echo's wrists. "Are you hurt?" Killer Frost asked and my eyes went from Echo to Killer Frost. "No. I'm fine." I whispered and Killer Frost gave me a short smile. Killer Frost looked at the woman and then back to me. "Is this..." she stopped asking and I sighed. "Yes, this is my mother." I admitted.
