Chapter 6 - Mixed Emotions

Coals pov -
I was pacing back and forth around my room, phone on the bed.
I'm sure there's no way he could've got my number. I never gave it to him!
~ding!~
I ran to my bed grabbing my phone.

I got it from Jacob
I lied to him saying I needed your number for school work. - Aaron

Okay that explains alot ... But why can't I trust Jacob? - Coal

I can't tell you right now. But please just be careful around him. - Aaron

Fine okay. - Coal

I set the phone down and sighed.
"What the living hell is he talking about? Why cant I trust Jacob? Did he do something in his past, to where Aaron doesn't want me hurt? Why would Aaron even care about me anyway. No reason too."

*Warning could get strong hurt feelings. So I'm sorry. Just thought to let y'all know*

I sat down next to my bed...... Thinking. I hugged my knees as my eyes filled with tears.
"I'm just gonna get hurt anyway. I'm so unlucky and those most baddest shit happens to me so I wouldn't be surprised..."

Aarons pov -

I didn't know what to do.
"Did I hurt her feelings, maybe I should let her know what's going on. I could stay around her, so Jacob doesn't hurt her either."
I smiled weakly.
"But I don't even stand a chance against Jacob."

Coals pov -

I was tired as hell. Got no sleep, just kept thinking and freaking out. I got to the bathroom, and looking in the mirror, well shit. You could tell I had no sleep, and that I was crying most of the night.
Turning on the sink water I sighed. Washed my face, threw my hair up, changed, did everything I needed and headed to the bus stop.
Lucky enough it was Friday, only had to survive today and I will be fine. Lily came running to the bus stop as I was getting on.
"Woke up late?"
"Hell yeah!"
"Was it nice?"
"Oh yea! Til I woke up.."
I laughed. Then I thought, I knew Lily for so long, she was always a part of my everyday life. Without her, well I don't even know what the outcome would be.
"You were crying...."
"What?! No..."
"Why? What happened?"
I sighed Lily knew me, she knew when I was hiding something. I took out my phone and showed her everything.
"Oh coal... I'm so sorry, you don't need them! Don't let them get to you okay. You know I'm here for you I always have."
I smiled, slightly tearing up. I probably have the greatest friend I could ever ask for.
Once we got to school I paused.
"No...."
Jacob and Aaron we're at my locker, waiting for me.....
