 Pidge's POV

  As I was walking away from my previous teammates, the castle started shaking and debris fell from the ceiling.

    Then the lights went out.

    All of us instantly rushed to the control room, I which we found Coran lying on the floor with smoke surrounding the room.

    " What happened!" Shiro asked Coran with a Stern voice as he helped him up.

    " Uh, I'm not sure." He replied.

    The smoke started to clear and we all gasped.

    Nico was sprawled on the door, his body on top of Lance. Bother we're unconscious. The power Crystal above the was destroyed.

    " The Crystal, Nico, Lance!"

    Shiro pride Nico of lance ad held them both in his arms.

    He looks devastated. I think he started to think of Nico as a son.

    Lance started to groan

    " LANCE!" Shiro yelled, trying to wake him up.

    Lance's eyes slowly stated to open. He look up at Shiro confusedly and then bore a panicked expression.

    " Where's Nico! Is he ok!" He asked, worried.

    He the look beside him and saw the sorry state Nico was in. His eyes widened and he leaped out of Shiro's arms and held Nico in his.

    " No, no,nononon! Is he alive!" Lance's voice quivered with each word.

    " I felt a pulse, he should be fine for now, but we need to get him to a healing pod, quick." Shiro answered." What happened here?"

    Lance pride his eyes away from Nico and looked at Shiro.

    " We were about to head down the the party, when Rover came in. I didn't see Pidge so I got confused. Nico and I turned around to see Rover turn red and start ticking. The last thing I remember is Nico saying ' watch out' And I was pushed to the ground." Lance explains.

    " Nico saved your life." I say, completely surprised.

    I figured he wasn't an enemy, but that didn't mean I trusted him completely. I sure do now though.

    " Without the Crystal the castle has no power, the pods won't work!" Allura says, concerned.

    Shiro gaze's down at Nico. " He doesn't look good."

    "Warriors!" The arution king says, popping up out of nowhere. " Our village is under attack! We need help!"

    " Let's get the lion's." Keith say.

    "We can't! There in their hangers, there's no way to get them out! It's hopeless." Allura exclaims.

    "Will you not help us!" The king says, sounding worried.

    "We will help you, we just.. hmm" Keith trail's of as we look at Nico.

    I know this is a bad time, but, he look so peaceful when he's asleep. There's no worry lines or scowling.

    "This is bad!" Hunk points out the obvious.

    " We have to get a new Crystal to get the castle working again, but to do that we need a ship." Coran informs us.

    " We can use the pod I was going to leave on, I left the door open!" I say

    " We can use the pod scanners to see if there's a balmara nearby!" Coran States. " Hunk, you come with me. I'll need someone big to help carry the Crystal."

    " A balmara?" Hunk questions

    It's where the crystals come from, I'll tell you about it on the way!"

    Then we left, with me showing them were the pod is.
