Prologue

Kihyun's POV

I sat on the chair as I talked with my mom, who's sitting facing the window. The room space is big enough for me and my mom. But we don't have much privacy as the wall is made of glass, so we can see the corridor.

"Omma, when will you bring me out of here?"

My mother smiled and held my hand in reassurance. The other hand gently caressed my hair.

"You'll get out soon."

Just then, someone entered the room. I looked at the person with annoyance.

"Excuse me, are you Yoo Kihyun?"

I nod. I stared at her figure and noticed her young features. Must be younger than me. I looked at my mother and said.

"She must be the new doctor."

I turned back at the doctor and saw her looking at me with a confused look. She held tightly the clipboard as she stood straight.

"Mr. Yoo, who are you talking to?"

I pointed at my mother, who's looking at the nurse annoyingly.

"My mother."

She furrowed her eyebrows.

"But, there's no one there."
