I've risen from the dead to bring you all another request. I was actually debating on turning this request down (because I am a chicken), but who am I to turn down a good challenge. 🧐

The request comes from ozzie55. I'm sorry if I changed around some things. I honestly think this writing turned out better than I expected and I hope he/she agrees. 😓

A father. Tails was still in shock. He and Zooey did plan to try and have a baby after they got married. Yet the thought still hit him with surprise when she told him they where successful. He felt he was ready, and he was.
The adult fox knew the many responsibilities that came with taking care of a baby. His baby.

He still wondered what he would tell his team. How they would react. Knuckles would be clueless as always. Well... one person I don't need to worry about. Sticks would most likely be paranoid, probably start wondering if Zooey was a government agent. Heh, Sticks never really grew up. Amy would obviously be super ecstatic, and actually a great source of information for the couple. And knowing her, she'd probably make a great nanny. And of course, Sonic...

How would he react? To being an uncle? To his brother being a father?

For someone he's known most of his life, Tails sure didn't know as much as he thought he did.

Everything was just happening so fast.

"Tails, honey? Are you alright?" Zooey. Tails spun around, and there she was. My wife... and my baby. Zooey chuckled, "You've been staring at that machine and holding that wrench for at least five minutes..."

"Oh...," Tails chuckled at his own embarrassment. He kept forgetting that he shared a house with someone else now. "Sorry, I was just... thinking..."

"About what?" She looked down nervously. "The baby?"

"About what my team will think of the baby. I mean Knuckles, Amy, and Sticks' reactions are pretty predictable... but Sonic... I just don't know..."

"And I thought you and Sonic knew each other like the back of your hands," Zooey commented.

"So did I..."

"Well," Zooey said, "I suggest we invite Knuckles, Amy, and Sticks over, and we can worry about Sonic later. How about that?"

"That's a brilliant idea." Tails rewarded Zooey with a kiss on her cheek. "I'll call them right now... I-If you don't mind."

Zooey chuckled, "I don't. I'll see you in the house when you're done cleaning this... mess up."

Tails looked at table and laughed at his own embarrassment yet again. "See you in a few."

"We will. Thanks, Amy."

"See you around." The door shut before the couple could reply.
