Through Worry (Request)

I'm... not... dead. However, finals are slowly killing me. 😂

Greetings, Wattpadians. I have risen from my non-existent grave to bring you all another request. The request came from SonicMarioWTF, who's given me some very nice comments. 🥰😊

I'm not sure if this really follows the request, but it was all I could think of. 🤔😂

"Nice hit, Tails!" the blue hedgehog shouted as he was released from the robots grasp. Sonic then curled into a tight ball and stuck the piece of metal repeatedly. "Is that all you got, Egghead?"

The evil scientist growled from his Egg Carrier, before grinning. He pressed a green and purple button on the control panel, and a laser suddenly popped out from the underside of the human's automobile.

"Actually, I do have something extra," Eggman stated, as Sonic got into a running stance, ready to dodge the lasers area of fire. "But I wouldn't be concerned, pun cushion. It's not for you."

The scientist turned the mobile and aimed the laser, at a small two-tailed fox, who was to busy battling some smaller robots to notice what was about to happen.

"Tails! Look out!" Sonic screamed to his sidekick. The fox turned around.

But it was too late...

Sonic looked over his little brother. God, he looked so pale. All because the hedgehog wasn't fast enough.

He'd managed to get Tails to the same hospital that Elwin had saved the both of them at last time. Better yet, the doctor was free and got Tails immediate support.

The fox was again attached to a ventilator, and had multiple IVs attached to him. Based on what Elwin told him, the device Eggman shot at Tails caused him to go brain dead, this included some his basic functions, such as breathing.

Luckily, Sonic was quick enough to get him to Elwin before cardiac arrest occurred. The doctor also told him that the affects of the laser could be undone...

... but it involved a life risking surgery that Sonic didn't want his little brother to go through.

The hedgehog ran his hand through his sidekick bangs. It was either Tails was put on life support, but could possibly come back; or Tails could possibly die in a risky surgery, and never come back. Sonic looked over his brother.

What would Tails want?

Sonic's thoughts were interrupted, as Elwin walked into the room.

"Have you come to a decision?" the doctor asked quietly, with concerned.

Sonic nodded. "Go through with the procedure."

Elwin nodded. "I promise, he's in good hands."

"Believe me," Sonic stated smiling sadly at the doctor, "I know."
