Apology

And he began....
His apology. "Do you remember the time I fell into that water, and you offered to help but I smacked your hand away?" I nodded recalling when that had happened, I only wanted to help. "I was going to accept, but I didn't want you to think of me as weak. I didn't want you to think that I needed help, I wanted you to think that I could do anything" he explained. I was just listening in shock. This was a whole new side of him. He continued "I cared so much of what you thought of me. I wanted you to look up to me, but I went about it the wrong way. I decided that if I wanted you to see me as a role model, I had to be above you, better than you. I thought that instead of actually doing the right thing, I had to make you respect and idolize me through fear. Obviously I realize how stupid that was. I was a complete dipshit to you, only because I wanted to inspire you." I never thought of that, why he did it. I always thought he just hated something about me. "Then, I envied you." He sighed running a hand through his hair. ENVIED ME. That didn't seem possible. "I was a utter asshole, bullied you, teased and made fun of you, did everything just to make you feel below me. I feel so fucking stupid and..... selfish thinking of how I treated you. But, you were always so damn cheerful and happy. You endured the worst shit and still smiled and focused on your grades. I didn't know how to deal with it, I had gotten so used to thinking that I had to be better than you. I guess it got to my head" he chuckled lightly at that. I was just star struck. I really thought I was dreaming. "So, I just tried to keep you down, and I just made the bad worse. I never realized how fucked up it all was in the moment. I wish I could get it through my thick ass skull. I want to change how I treated, well still treat you. I know a single apology can't make up for a lifetime of bullshit, but I'm gonna try to make it up to you.            Of course, only if you let me" he finished. I. Was. Speechless. He looked at me, anticipating what would be said next. I really didn't know what to say. I'm just...... glad I guess. Glad that he realized what he had done and owned up to it, which just at that said how much he was sorry. And then the whole-  speech. I just smiled at him. I didn't know how to react, not used to this and all. "I-I  Thank you" He was taken aback by that. "Why the hell are you thanking me" he asked. "For what you just did, I appreciate it" I replied. He just smiled a bit. We continued to talk about what comes next. "So, do I call you Midoriya?" He asked me. I thought for a bit. I could tell it was a question that had been on his mind as he finished. I knew that our real names were something that were said unnaturally and we had used the nick names as if they were our actual names. I slightly smiled, pretending to think. "I don't know. What do you think, Kacchan" I fully smiled at the end. I felt like a cliche, but it was fun. He chuckled and we continued our conversation. It felt kinda weird, since I obviously wasn't completely comfortable with him again. I kept glancing at Todoroki, who was watching us. I kept looking at him, to calm him down and tell him everything is fine. I guess the blonde in front of me noticed. He stopped mid sentence to say something else. "You can invite that Pepsi can over if you want" (AN I saw that in a comment and laughed so hard) "You know you could be nicer to him" I suggested. He looked at me, not even thinking about it. "C'mon, I would appreciate it~" I said trying to get him to give in. He looked unsure. Was it hard for him? "Just, call him by his actual name for a change" I said to him. He considered it and nodded finally. I waved Todoroki-kun over to us. He came over to me and beside me. No one spoke. Todoroki was the first to say anything, "Sooo, what's going on" he said, just to say something. He wanted to know how the conversation went. I looked at Kacchan and just nodded. It seemed to answer Todoroki's question. Maybe they would want to hang out. "Hey, do guys have anything to do, like after school". They both seemed to think about it for a bit. "No" they both answered at the same time. They didn't seem to see where I was going with this. I sighed. "Do you guys want to hang out together". They looked at each other and nodded. "Ok, great! My room okay"
    When class ended we went to our next class, we actually had Aizawa-Sensei this time. We sat in our normal seats waiting for him to crawl into class per usual. Once he did he said "Ok. Like I said you guys have projects" I almost forgot about that. "You will be put into groups of three" I nodded thinking about who I might get. "You will spend 3 days with your partners and write down anything you notice or find out about them. The last day you will right a report about that person, what you learned, and your view of them and hand it in on Monday." I slowly nodded taking in everything he was saying. "Ok I have the groups here:
Ojiro, Hagakure, and Kouji
Tsuyu, Bakugou, and Fumikage
Todoroki, Lida, and Momo
Mineta, Yuuga, and Kirishima
Midoriya, Ashido, and Jirou
  He listed all the other groups. I was pretty excited about my partners. I was excited to get to know more about them. "Get together with your groups and have your discussions" Aizawa said getting ready to sleep. I walked over to Jirou and so did Mina. Mina was the first to speak "So, when do we want to meet up first?" I thought for a second. "How about Saturday" It was Thursday so we had Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to do the project. Everyone seemed to agree. "Who's room" Jirou spoke up. "We can do mine" I suggested. Honestly, I like having people in my dorm, I don't really know why though. They, once again, agreed. After everyone had finished setting their plans and discussing, they went to their usual group of friends. I headed over to Todoroki, Uraraka, lida, and Tsu. "Hey guys" I said once I had reached them. They turned to see me and greeted me in return. "So, how are your groups" I asked. Tsu responded with "I'm ok with my group, it's just that Bakugou is gonna be yelling the whole time". She was probably right. Todoroki and Lida are in the same group so they seem fine with it. Uraraka was also fine with her group, she had gotten Sero and Denki.
~Time Skip~
It was the end of the day and I was leaving the class. I had spotted Kacchan and Todoroki so I ran over. I grabbed Todoroki and ran over to Kacchan. They both looked at each other in confusion. I started to walk ahead "Sooo, what do you guys wanna do". They were both following now. They looked at each other once again and shrugged. "What do you want to do Midoriya" Todoroki-kun questioned. I thought about it, I hadn't really planned anything. "OH let's watch a movie!" I said loudly. I knew what we were gonna watch. "Kinda boring but ok" Kacchan replied. I started to drag them with me, making my way to my room.
  I opened my door and plopped myself right on my bed. They both followed and did the same thing. "What are we watching" Kacchan asked me. I giggled feeling giddy. "Twilight!" I almost shouted. Kacchan groaned and Todoroki-kun looked at me doubtful. "C'mon! It will be fun I love that movie!" Kacchan has an idea, I could tell by the look on his face. "Fine. Only if we can pick the next one" he said, still smirking. Todoroki seemed to agree as he nodded. At least they agreed, so I did too. I turned on the TV on and turned Twilight on, having it recorded. I grabbed a pillow and leaned back. Kacchan, on my right, and Todoroki, on my left, got comfortable too.
   My favorite part was coming up and I sat up. It was the part where Edward reads everyone in the restaurant's mind but can't read Bella's. I bit my lip, I loved this movie way to much. "And then you. Nothing. It's very frustrating" the Tv said. I smiled and sat back. "I'm guessing you like that part Midoriya" Todoroki said looking at me. I nodded with my goofy smile still plastered in my face. He grinned a bit. "Dork" Kacchan said. I turned to him and he also had a smirk on his face. "A cute dork" he mumbled under his breath, to the point were Izuku didn't hear. My eyes were already back on the screen.
   By the end of the movie, my head was on Todoroki's lap and my legs were draped over Kacchan's. I was getting tired and soon, sleep took over.
