The next morning mommy and I went to the doctors because she said she had an appointment or something. She's been coming here a lot lately and I'm starting to get a little bored of it. I've played with every toy they have in the little play room and have started bringing my own!
"Have you told your family the great news?" I heard the doctor ask my mom.
Everything else was muffled and I wasn't all that interested so I went on about my game.
On the drive home we were singing along to the radio when my mom asked if I wanted to go on a little shopping spree with her which of course I agreed to.
She headed straight to the baby section which I thought was a little weird. Maybe she wasn't aware that I'm a big kid now!
"Mom, that clothes doesn't fit me anymore!" I said as I tried to pull her towards the toys.
"Wouldn't you want a little baby brother or sister?" She asked arching her brows in the process.
"I don't know, could be fun I guess" I shrugged, I had never really thought about it too much.
She smiled at my response and spent a couple of minutes looking around the baby stuff.
Could be pretty cool to be a big sister though! I could boss around the little kid around! Maybe even have them do my chores for me! Or better, I'd have someone to play with.
