I walked into the IT class and saw Leo at the back of the class looking odd today which is quite unusual.

“Hey,” I whispered as I took the seat in front of him.

“Hi,” he answered with a nervous smile.
My computer let out a quiet beep from an unread message. I rolled my eyes knowing exactly who it's from.

I started giggling, but I was interupted by Mrs. Henderson. She stared down at me with a hard glare; while her glasses rested on the bridge of her nose.
“Mrs. Heatherway, if you would kindly depart from my classroom, I would really appreciate it.”

I looked up at the teacher with my  mouth open.

“I'm so sorry Mrs.H I was ju...”
“I did not ask for an explanation - I asked you to leave.”

I packed up my things and headed to the door of the classroom and before I left I turned around to look at Leo. He was looked and me with wide eyes and he didn't say anything. I clenched my teeth ;let out a deep breath and walked out the classroom.

I mumbled curses under my breath as I walked down the school hall heading to the disaplinery class. I loved this class because it was filled with savage teens. I strolled in the class and looked around for an open seat - obviously trying to look 'fly'. I sat down in the front row because surprisingly this class was full. I look to my left and my eyes met with Ben's. I quickly looked down not wanting to look at him anymore. I then remembered what happened between Natalie and Trevor. I felt a pang of guilt that made my stomach flip.

I looked at him with the conner of my eye, gently biting my lip.

I cleared my throat and began, “Hi Ben,”
He looked at me with absolute shock.

“Uhhh hi,” he answered dragging his words.

“I want to make this clear, I dislike you - a lot. And the only reason I'm about to tell you this is not because I care about you but it's because I'll feel super guilty if I don't tell you.”

I looked at me with the "go on" look.

“Well, Natalie and Tre...”

“I know,” he answered with a bored expression.
“And you know what exactly?” I asked.

“Well, I knew about enough to have a valid reason to break up with her.”

“Oh! Um! I'm sorry,” I said with a poker face.

He nodded and proceeded with whatever he was doing before. I turned to the front and noticed that the teachers was looking at Ben and I with a bored expression.
“You two have detention,” was all he said before he strolled to his seat.

I sighed in annoyance, “Do you want two detentions, because I can surely arrange that,”
“No sir,” Ben said glaring at me

“Sorry sir,” I said glaring right back at him.

The bell rang about 15 minutes later. I  walking out the class and saw Leo waiting for me at the door. I just pretended as if I didn't see him even though our eyes met.
“Miki,” he called out

I walked faster.
“Miki, please wait!”

I walked even faster. I felt him pull me back.
“What Leo!”

He stared at me for a while before he answered, “May you please go to the winter ball with me,”

He had so much hope in his eyes it was hallerious . That's why I started laughing at him, he looked confused, as if wondering if he said the right thing. I couldn't say no after laughing, so I nodded. He looked at me and started jumping around yelling, "I got the hottest date! "
I put my hands over his mouth and shouted at him, telling him to shut up.

“Let's go!” I said dragging him to the Cafe.
