Ash’s P.O.V.
“Hey Georgia! What’s with the cold shoulder?” I ask walking up to her. She stopped, I could see that she was upset, she had tears brimming in her eyes and that was big as hardly ever cried in front of people.
“Hey, I’m sorry about what I said to you this mornin’ and what you said was true but that is no reason to act like I’m dead!” I said when I reached her I rested my hand on her shoulder.
“Wait, what did you just say?” She said coming out of her upset state.
“Nothing.” I said knowing exactly what she was talking about.
“You said that I was right about that this morning about you and …” she started as my hand slammed over her mouth as Matt and Jake went past. When I was sure that they were out of hearing range I slowly let my hand fall from her mouth.
“So what?” I said as we started walking again.
“So you love…”
“Like” I corrected her.
“Fine you like Matt and I like Jake.” She said, “But I am not going to go for Jake he is going to cringe until I finally give in.” She finished with an evil grin spread across her face. I slowly raised my hand as if I was in a class and the teacher scared us shitless.
“Yes Ash?” Georgia said as if she was a school teacher talking to her student.
“Do you mind if I ask why?” I asked carefully.
“Cause this mornin’ he was singing to me and now he is flirting with every girl he sees. I’m gonna make him what me!” She said starring me in the eyes while m eyebrows rose in suspicion.
“OK!” I said as we walked towards the cafeteria.
Matt’s P.O.V.
She walked into the Cafeteria looking like an angel from heaven, while laughing with her best friend, Georgia. They radiated with this beautiful glow of happiness. Man, she could make me happy if only she would give me the chance. Jake had been moping about all day because of a beautiful Blond haired girl that has the power of turning him into a complete blithering idiot. Jake and I have to get a grip and just plain man up! Take control and just ask them out! Alright, we’re going to do it.
“Jake!” I yelled out to him across the cafeteria, well not exactly he was sitting a table away.
“Yeah man?” He said looking at me as I sat down.
“How would you feel if you could take Georgia to the dance next week?” I asked looking at him trying to catch the truth in case he decided to lie to me.
“HOLY SHIT! I have date with Georgia!” He said in a hushed whisper shout.
“No, but you could if you come with me to ask them. I mean who can resist us?”
Ash’s P.O.V.
The two boys walking towards Georgia and I had my heart beating faster. Damn, why did Matt have to look so damn hot in his jeans and plain white t-shirt!
“Hey Girls!” Matt said casually as he pulled a sit around and sat on it backwards, Jake followed suit but it happened about the same time.
“Hey.” I said looking up at them.
“Yeah … Hey.” Georgia said looking at them.
“Um… Do you lovely ladies want to come with us to the dance next weekend?” Matt asked looking at me, with the smile that could melt your heart. I looked at Georgia and she looked back at me. Her eyes were saying ‘Hell No!’
“No, thanks though, we’ll see you around.” I said as we stood up, I had a smirk spread across my face. We turned on our heels and walked out of the cafeteria, leaving the boys sitting at the table looking absolutely stunned that someone had turned them down.
When we were out of the cafeteria Georgia and I high five and walked down the hall.
