I kept talking to this 'jisung' guy until I didn't notice chaeyoung already entering our dorm.
"hello to you too!!" areum jokingly said as she layed down all the grocery bags on the kitchen counter.
"sorry I didn't notice you come in." I smiled sheepishly at her.
she gasped, "nevermind that, you just smiled!! ah wait hold on!" she hurriedly took out her phone and quickly snapped a picture of me.
"wait no!! don't post that or give it to anyone!!" I tried to grab her phone but she managed to hide it from me.
"don't worry... I'm not going to send it to anyone. this is for our memory." she showed me an empty album named 'memories with jiji 💕' on it which I assumed she just made a nickname for me.
"from now on, I'm going to call you jiji!!" she hopped back to the kitchen to make us dinner.
I followed her there and said, "let me help you with it. you've done enough by helping me with my stuff." I took all the groceries from her hands that she just took.
"nope nope nope!!" she grabbed them back, "as someone who's been living here for a year, I should be cooking for us!! now go wait on the couch and I'll call you when it's ready!!!"
her statement just made me sigh in defeat, "I'll pay you next time." I said to her and sat down on the couch.
I pulled out my phone and see there's already tons of notification from the one and only jisung.

I chuckled at his foolishness and left him on read. I know, it's rude but I can't stop smiling at how much of a dork he is. we just met through text but I can tell he's an energetic guy in real life. can't wait to meet him at school tomorrow.
"what are you smiling about?" areum peeked through my shoulders causing me to bounce off the couch.
"n-nothing." I laughed awkwardly.
she suddenly snatched my phone, "oh you're talking to jisung, huh?- wait jisung? THE han jisung?" she looked at be disbelief.
"uhh yeah, why?" I tried to guess what she was thinking about.
"don't you know? han jisung is friends with some of my classmates and some older students! they're not really popular but when I look at them from afar, it warms my heart for some reason that no matter what their age are they're still close friends. heck I even thought they're brothers!" areum started explaining.
it took me a while to process what she said but eventually I understood.
"come on, the food is getting cold. after this we need to get some sleep and get ready for school! yay..." she sarcastically said and lead me to the kitchen.
