school ended quickly than expected. the whole day was tiring, yet it was memorable. meeting new people and being their friends, what a nice way to start the new year.
jiwoo unlocked her dorm and stepped inside, "areum? are you inside?" she yelled. no response.
"maybe she has some school work to do." jiwoo said to herself.
she went inside her room and changed into something more comfortable. after that, she jumped onto her bed and took her phone out. she was shocked to see that there were tons of notifications in her contacts.

she didn't recognized the first two group chats until she remembered that she was added into the group a few hours ago. but something caught her eyes, there was an unknown number. she didn't remember sharing her phone number to anyone and she already saved stray kids and nct's contacts.

jiwoo turned off her phone and sighed heavily. she didn't want any dramas in her life especially when she just arrived to a new school, heck even another country.
she shut off her eyes, enjoying the quiet yet comfortable atmosphere. it was quiet until she heard small footsteps entering her room.
she looked down and saw areum's cats looking at her intensely. they looked like they were about to murder her but jiwoo didn't think about it. she quickly carried them to her bed and starting petting one by one.
their cuteness was something jiwoo couldn't bare to ignore. cats are her weakness and there's nothing she could do about it except accept the fate that she loves cats.
the bell rung and a few of the cats on her bed jumped off and ran to the living room.
"I'm coming!" jiwoo shouted.
as soon as she opened the door, there stood a heavy panting areum with her backpack on the floor.
"are you okay?" she asked areum worriedly.
