I needed a break from everything at the academy. I know it's only been a week, but so much has happened.

I woke up in my room. I loved my room. It is smaller than Willow's, but it is my place to be me. I could be who I am in here with no one else telling me other wise. I walked into the kitchen where Sawyer and Danny, one of my dads, were eating breakfast.

"How did you sleep." I told them that I was stressed and needed to get some sleep here last night.

"Great my bed felt so good." I smiled. If anyone could see through a lie it was Danny. He always caught me and I'm a great liar. He smiled.

"Good. Sawyer go grab your backpack. I'm taking you to school today."

"Yay!" She ran off.

"Mark tell me what's wrong." He said very sternly, but lovingly.

"Nothings wrong dad," I lied.

"You just lied. Now tell what's wrong."

"Ok fine, school has been difficult, Willow is to busy with Jack, and I'm-" I stopped. I didn't want to admit that so I stopped.

"Gay" he finished my sentence. I opened my mouth wide kinda in shock.

"How did you know!"

"It's obvious, Mark. And I'm your dad." He said while still eating his breakfast.

"Well only one person kinda knows, but I told her I wasn't."

"Is that your sister?" He asked.

"No she could careless."

"That isn't true, she just doesn't want to assume. I did teach you two not judge anyone even if they are the worst person ever." He said. Wow he was super good at finding things out.

"And Mark, I don't care obviously." He said while putting his breakfast in the sink. He walked over and hugged me. "I love you just the same. Now you just got to love yourself." He walked over to the door and smiled before walking out with Sawyer behind him. I got some breakfast and then ate. I should probably get back to the academy. I left a note on the counter telling them that I was leaving.

I walked out of the building and I ran into someone familiar. It was Nico, Zara's brother.

"What are you doing here." I asked. He turned towards me and walked over to me.

"I'm supposed to beat you up little bitch!"

"Why? I did nothing wrong."

"Oh yes you did. You just make out with my sister and then never call her back." He shouted.

"I know I should have called her back, but I don't like her like that."

"She is perfect and your just gonna leave her alone. She has been around longer than you have been alive." Oh I definitely didn't know that from before. Oh god, I made out with an old lady.

"Just tell her sorry." I turned to walk, but I was grabbed from behind and thrown into an alleyway. Nico was punching my in the face. He then cast a fire spell and would have used it if it wasn't for someone behind him. Nico is half vampire half siphoner. The person made fire go out with their hands. Nico ran away.

I got up and faced the person who helped me. It was Brody.

"Thanks Brody, why are you here." I asked.

"I was worried about you bro. We are friends you know." Brody fist bumped me. Wow I didn't realize that Brody was kinda hot in like a friend way.

"Thanks again. Let's get to the academy." I said then we ran to the Uber. Brody jumped in and I followed. I wondered where Griffin was. He should have been the one looking for me not Brody, but I am thankful.

We got to the academy and I walked in and ran to my class. I saw Griffin and his brother Colin talking.

"Thanks for nothing." I said as I walked past him.

"What did I do!" He ran after me leaving Colin in the dust. I got to my room and Griffin ran in after me. I grabbed my books. I turned around to a worried-faced Griffin.

"Move please! I have class."

"You can't just do that bro. I didn't do anything." He said trying to calm me down.

"That is the issue. Brody helped me not my best friend." He grabbed my arm when I tried to walk past him again. I dropped my books because of it.

"You make me so mad sometimes!" I yelled. I looked right into his brown eyes.

"Wh-" He was cut off by my lips meeting his. I like Griffin. This is a mess. It was like a few seconds and he pushed me away softly. "Mark I don't like you like that. You know I like Crystal."

"Of course you do. Everyone likes Crystal because she is perfect." I said while picking up my books.

"It's not that you aren't perfect. It's just I like girls and I knew you didn't I just didn't know if you realized it." He said. I started to tear up so I ran out of the room to find anyone else. Except for the one of the people I did find.
