Last lesson a week later (Monday)
5 Days still the dance (it's on the friday)
Joes POV
Staring at dianne across the English classroom isn't really what I want to be doing right now. Over the past week all I have thought about is Dianne and the way her gorgeous red hair falls onto her perfect little shoulders and how her eyes sparkle when she's happy. All I want to do is hold her in my arms and kiss her, I want her to be mine. Caspar constantly nags me to ask her out but she's so perfect I don't know why she'd ever love me. I sit letting my gaze take over me until I hear faint shouts
"Joe"
"Joe"
"SUGG"
I snapped out of my gaze and replied
"Yes miss"
"Stop staring at Miss Buswell and get on with your work"  Miss Atkin told me
"Yes Miss, sorry miss" I replied and looked down at my book and started my work, I quickly glanced up at dianne who was beaming and bushing profusely. 
The bell rang and oh thank lord it did, end of the daaaayyy! I'm gonna see if people wanna come to mine tomorrow. We all left the classroom and found each other, we huddled together and started walking slowly toward the gate.
"Hey y'all wanna come to mine tomorrow?" I asked
"Sure" replied a very exciting Dianne
"Yeh, Casp?" Ambar replied
"Oh go on then" he laughed.
"Okay I'll see you guys tomorrow" I said waving at Ambar and Caspar, Dianne walks my way now anyway. We were walking and suddenly she just stopped and faced away from the other side of the road. From what I could see there was only a group of boys over there.

Dianne's POV
Walking home with Joe is always fun, we never stop laughing and smiling at each other. I really think i might be falling for him but there's no way in hell he feels the same. We got to my door and I hugged him goodbye and we vowed to text each other when he got home, I got changed and pulled out my phone thinking to myself "yeh he'll be home by now" I opened up my WhatsApp and saw Joe had posted on his status. I clicked on it and it was a video of me holding his hand... I'm sure it was my hand.... I immediately pressed the reply button,
Dianne: is that my hand?! 😱
Joe: Ye, did you not notice you held my hand most of the way back?
Dianne: no....
Joe: oh I thought you knew seems as well, it is your hand....
Dianne: yeah, I only just realized.... sorry 😐
Joe: no don't apologize if I'm quite honest I kinda enjoyed it
Dianne: me too, although I didn't notice 😂
Joe: 😂 can I ask you something?
Dianne: sure
Joe: well not really ask as such but just talk to ya
Dianne: of course, spill
Joe: well I can't hide it much longer and I have to tell you.... I have a crush on you Di
Dianne: oh my gosh you have no idea how much I've wanted to tell you that I feel the same....
Joe: well I was actually wondering if you'd go to the dance with me on Friday?
Dianne: of course! And then guess we'll see where it goes from there?
Joe: I'd be honored
Dianne: so we stay as friends for now?
Joe: I suppose so, if you want to?
Dianne: maybe we could keep it secret and just say we're going to the dance as friends or something
Joe: but I want to be with you
Dianne: I want to be with you too Joey
Joe: we should be allowed to be together
Dianne: we are I just don't know
Joe: don't know what?
Dianne: well I've sorta never had a boyfriend before
Joe: I don't care Di, I won't judge you if you go wrong
Dianne: thank you
Joe: so I guess your ma girlfriend now
Dianne: guess so!
Dianne: Ello boyfriend 😂
Joe: your perfect
Dianne: I'm really not
Joe: your perfect to me
Dianne: thank you, your perfect to me too x
Joe: ❤️
Dianne: I have to go for dinner but can we FaceTime later? ❤️
Joe: totally!
Dianne: can't wait
Joe: me neither I just want to see your perfect little smile ❤️
Dianne: ❤️
Joe: Bye Di x
Dianne: Bye Joey ❤️

I set my phone back on charge and ran downstairs to my mum and brothers who were calling me down for dinner.
"Hello Di" my mum said as I walked into the kitchen
"Alright mum, hi Bren, Andy" I chirped sitting down opposite my mum and picking up my knife and fork.
"So how was school the three of you?" Mum asked. Andrew answered first then Brendan then i didn't realize but it was my turn.
"Dianne?" My mum laughed waving her hand in front of my face.
"Oh yes right sorry, daydream" I laughed
"How was school?" Mum repeated
"It was great!" I said beaming as joe crossed my mind
"Is someone smitten?" Brendan teased
"Stop it Bren" mum quipped
"Yes" I replied
My mum and brothers turned and looked at me in disbelief....
