Dianne's POV It's the day after I had the shitty day with my period and I definitely feel much better, Ambars Mum (let's just call her Kerry) is dropping us into town so Ambar and I can go shop for the school dance. She picked us up from school and dropped us outside New Look, we had a look round there but haven't really seen much yet, Ambars picked up a necklace and I got a pair of earrings but nothing much. We then walked down to Quiz, I walked in and immediately Ambar had found a few dresses she liked so she went and tried them on, I waited for her to show me them and they all looked okay apart from one, it stood out from all the rest... it looked stunning on her. It made her eyes and hair really pop and stand out... (Ambars Dress - pretend it's black with silver lines)

"Hun you look stunning" I told her as she looked into the full length mirror swishing her dress about. "It is quite nice isn't it" She said smiling "Nice. You think it looks NICE..!" I said in shock, she looked at me quite blankly. "W...w... what do you mean?" She quibbled "It looks STUNNING, not just Nice Ambar... you look stunning. Caspar is gonna be an absolute melt when he sees you in that!" I told her, she giggled a bit and then just stopped and looked at herself. "It is absolutely gorgeous... let's get it!" She said excitedly darting back into the changing room and putting her other clothes back on, she paid for her dress and then we went down to Debenhams. We looked around until we got to the prom & events section. I scanned through the racks looking at all the dresses then something caught my eye... and then something else... and then something else... I picked them all up and shuffled straight into the dressing room. The first dress I put on was A black bodycon maxi dress. I stepped out and Ambar looked at the dress...

"It's okay hun, you could do better but if you like it then fair enough" she said "Thank you Ambs I was thinking similar" I said going back Into the changing room. I took the black dress off and the next one I tried on was a princess dress with a plain blue off the shoulder top and a floral skirt, I thought it was absolutely gorgeous. I stepped out and once again Ambar looked the dress up and down before a massive smile engulfed her face, from ear to ear.
