Love sick

The Quest

 A/N:

I seem to have lost Jack and Juliette #3, it was Strong Love. So this will be #4 the last one in this series. Coming next will be the Nikhil and Nancy series followed by two House MD fan-fictions. 

Jack and Juliette #4 (written at the age of 11)

Jack, Julilette, Ben, Betcy, Leonard and Lucy were six kids in VI std in Blossom's School. Jack and Juliette had a crush on each other, then Ben and Betcy and so did Leonard and Lucy. None of them had the guts to confess to each other their feelings. Ben and Betcy get to meet each other at karate class, the others meet only in the class. Jack likes art, Juliette likes magic, Ben likes fighting, Betcy likes gadgets, Leonard likes football and Lucy likes to read books. They were all french students.

Later the other four also joined the karate class and six of them became friends. Now all the 3 boys could meet the 3 girls on Saturday and Monday. On Monday something  weird happened at karate class. 

All the 3 girls were glowing in blue and the boys in red. All the other students and their sir looked at the six of them in wonder, when suddenly all of them started floating in air, not that high from the ground. As Juliette knew a bit of magic she said, 'Tis, agrecona' and they all settled down on the floor. Their Sir told them that the boys controlled fire and the girls controlled water. They thought he was joking but he wasn't. He felt like nobody believed him so he told them the story of an ancient legend, he began,

"There was once a man named David and a woman named Delilia, they were very skilled fighters. Once while walking through a forest they heard a man screaming for help, they rushed to the old guy and saw that a group of tigers had surrounded him. They quickly fought and killed off the tigers. The man thanked them and in return for their help he taught them the art of karate and gave Delilia the power to control water and fire for David.  It is said that these powers would be passed on to three girls and boys."

Betcy believed only half of the story, she decided to try something out. She moved her hand over the water cooler and imagined water in her mind. Suddenly water came out of the cooler and filled the glass and she was able to lift the glass filled with water too. She stood shocked with her mouth open and so did the others. They now believed the legend. They were happy with their powers. They asked Sir what could they do in return for David and Delilia for giving them their powers. 

"There is more to the story, they later got married and had a child, a baby girl. The old man had told them if they had a boy his name should be Dan and Darlet if a girl but the couple forgot this and named their girl something else instead, immediately she disappeared. They felt it was related to the old man and so they went to him. The old man told them the reason and said that to get their child back  someone with the powers of fire and water must go to the Temple of Curse but he added that the child's parents could not go. Now the parents were troubled as they couldn't do anything. They were the only people they knew who had such powers. They returned home and drank poison and died. They did not want to live in a world without their baby. So children if you want to do something for them, then go to the Temple and free their child, you can help set their souls free." He further told them the way to reach the Temple also. They agreed and started their journey which took them two days.

A tablet on the entrance door said they must go through six doors to undo the curse. They entered and used torch lights to light their path. The first door had pictures of paintings and below it some words were there, they had to press one of them. Jack who was skilled at art stepped in and solved the first riddle. The second door required Juleitte for magic and in this way Ben,Betcy,Leonard and Lucy helped solve each riddle and opened a door each time. They finally reached the chamber. The last step to undo the curse is to use their powers together on the chest. It opened and a baby girl flew to the sky, smiling at them. They knew that the curse was removed. They returned back and met their Sir to tell him the good news. From then on wards they used their powers for good. 

They confessed their feelings to each other later and fell in love and got married in the future. The Quest was a memory that they will never forget.
