'Dont Forget Me' -Leo Valdez Abuse Story

3rd POV

BIG WARNING HERE. LIKE A BIG ONE.

Leo covers his mouth, and works on distracting himself. He plays with a pen he brought in with him. Meanwhile, the others settle down, on the couch.

"I mean. Leo's life can't be bad." Percy tries to reassure themselves.

Annabeth stays looking at the sheet. "I don't understand. Even the suicide thing? We picked none.. Was that the one correct?" Percy rubs her back.

"I'm sure it's nothing. Think about it. It's Leo. Leo is a dumbass, he would probably try to kill himself over lossing a fucking pencil." Percy laughs, and the others follow.

Leo starts to tap the pen on the ground. The taps make out, worthless slut. Annabeth notices this, and tenses up.

Annabeths POV

I listen to the small taps, Leo makes. It's Morse code. Come on Annabeth, listen to it. W-o-r-t-h-l-e-s-s, worthless... S-l-u-t... Worthless slut..... I freeze, tears swimming to my eyes. I watch Leo, as he picks at the pencil, his body turned from the TV.

"Okay Demigods, get comfortable." Hera calls out. The group chatters around, then silences as the TV turns on.

The screen turns on. On the screen is a black text, July 7th. On July 7th, Esperanza gave birth to Leonidas Valdez.

I look at the sheet. That was the question we got correct. Esperanza...

The screen shows a image of a gorgeous woman. Chocolate brown curls, wrapping around her face. Her light coffee skin, complimented her gorgeous almond eyes. Her nose, was small, and her face was thin. She was stunning. It shows a young boy in her arms, tiny brown curls covering his head in tiny litters.

Leo looks at the screen with a smile, "Mami..." He mutters out. "My mother, was a amazing woman. Kind, strong hearted." Leo looks at the screen, with a smile. A smile I haven't seen before. It looked... The smile looked real.

Esperanza loved Leo. Leo was a smart child, and learned very fast. He was just a few months old when he could crawl. Esperanza was proud. She loved Leo tons.

The group gave small, awws. "Like I said his life isn't bad." Percy says. Hazel nods in agreement

Leo gave a small laugh, "Percy, that's what you think. I jelly coated my life. Not even, I made a whole different persona." Leo gives a smile.

Esperanza took great care of Leo. She favorited him. Thought he was the best. She was convinced. It got hard, since she was a only mother. But she didn't mind. This, is a memory when Esperanza first found out of Leo's fire powers.

"She must have stopped loving you there!" Frank chuckled. Leo got up, clearly furious.

"Frank, don't talk trash about my mother. Bebé monida. I don't appreciate it." Leo hisses, he storms back down.

Esperanza holds Leo, tossing him in the air, catching him. (Not high, like gentle tosses) "Look hijo! Puedes volar!" She calls out, within her laughs. Leo responds back with goggles and smiles. "Bien. Now it's time for you to learn, hijo."
Esperanza sets Leo down on the ground, when she goes off to her room. "Mami! Mami! Mirar! Mirar!" Leo chants, the camera follows Esperanza. She grabs some cards, and walks out with a smile on her face. She looks over to Leo, to see his body red. He was in flame, as he continued to laugh.
Esperanza almost faints, but manages not to. She slowly convinces Leo to think of something else, to lesson the fire. When it's lessoned, she blows it out. "Mami, was I bad?" Leo asks.
