I waited quietly, looking at the only photos that I had of Seungkwan.. one I had taken during my practice secretly as he talked with Jeonghan, one of him when we made out, two when we woke up early the next day, and lastly the ones before his surgery.
It had been 4 hours since he went in and the doctor came out, a mask covering their face so their expression was unreadable. I shook the rest of the boys awake and they all stood up straight for the news the doctor was about to give.
"he's alive and healthy"
were the words I was expecting to hear but instead, I got something like, "Seungkwan couldn't make it through the surgery. We are so sorry for your loss. Especially you Vernon, we saw how much he meant to you in those last few hours of his life."
