Discovering Sapphire

PROLOGUE

Hi guys! This is my first time writing a story here on wattpad so I hope you guys enjoy it. ^.^

Random person’s POV

It was a quiet, dark night. Everything had seemed to have fallen asleep. I was in my lovely little house, explaining about the realms to someone very dear to my heart.

“What humans know about heaven and hell. It is ALL wrong. Heaven isn’t in the skies like many of them think nor is hell beneath the ground of the Earth. This universe that we live in consists of 5 realms. The highest being “Heaven” where god and his angels (yes, they exist) live. The second realm acts like a bridge to the first where all of the normal beings who have done good in their lives go. It is a connection between god, his angels and their souls where they are to stay for eternity after death, enjoying peace and tranquility. The third is where all the physical bodies are. Yes, you guessed it. Earth. The fourth realm… now it gets darker. The fourth realm belongs to the fallen angels. They’re in the fourth realm because fallen angels CAN do good sometimes, if they want to. However it is rare as most of them are filled with hatred so deep that it blinds them from doing what is right from what this hatred compels them to do. Hence they’re still not considered as ENTIRELY evil. The fifth realm however, is where all the demons and the devil are, otherwise known as ‘Hell’. This realm belongs to those humans who have murdered, raped or done whatever horrible sins in their lives, so horrible that it cannot be cleansed. These humans become demons after they die and are slaves to the devil, following his every command. The 5 realms are all interconnected in one way or another and the only reason why we do not see the other realms is because each realm is in their own dimension, in their own ‘space’. Every realm has its own rules and regulations on who may enter but, almost 10 century ago, some demonic being found a flaw in the third realm and managed to pry open the gates that block them from entering that forbidden land, sowing discord and wrecking havoc in people’s lives. As the times went by, the number of demons continued to grow as they managed to tempt good humans into sinning, thus never letting them enter the gates of the first or second realm. As we were slowly outnumbered, and the hopes of saving these innocent beings were slowly lost, a new revelation occurred.” I stared up at her, looking to see if she was still listening. She was, sitting upright with her eyes glued to me. So I knew I could continue as she wasn’t bored yet.

“That’s where you come in, my dear sweet Sapphire. You, you are special. You were created by your father and I to fulfill a certain prophecy. You will know in due time what you are to do. This is your mission and duty to God and to the humans, darling.” I stared at my beautiful daughter who stared back at me with her big almond shaped eyes. They were the colour of the night. Black. But if you stared close enough, you will see it glimmer with silver specks in it just like the night sky. It was truly enchanting and special. Her hair was a midnight black with a streak of blue flowing down the side of her fringe, thus getting her name. She was a beautiful creature.

The prophecy…

BANG! I was disrupted from my thoughts as I spun my head around to see a tall, muscular man at the entrance of my door. My husband. He was breathing heavily, with blood flowing down the side of his arm as I stared at him, wide-eyed.

“They’re. Coming! Protect. Our baby!” He shouted between breaths. I could see the panic in his eyes as he turned around to guard our door to prevent THEM from reaching Sapphire. If she ended up in the wrong hands… Who knew what could happen… Somehow Satan’s demons had managed to locate us in this realm. The realm of the fallen. We had thought that by staying in the fourth realm, the demons would not have guessed we were here as it was an unlikely place for us to hide such good in such evil.

“SAPPHIRE! Time to go honey!” I scooped her up in my arms and ran up the stairs towards her room. Suddenly I heard the most agonizing scream from downstairs, one that brought tears to my eyes. My husband was under attack. There was no time to lose as I put sapphire down and stared at with eyes full of warmth and tears.

“What’s going on mummy? Where’s daddy?” She said in a soft whisper, she was on the brink of tears and I felt heartbroken to see my daughter like that.

“Everything’s going to be alright dear. Trust me. Now listen very carefully… You won’t be able to remember any of this for a really long time. You won’t remember me nor your father nor your childhood with us. I will leave you in the care of your two guardian angels who are already on Earth, preparing to take you in. Be good and listen to them alright. From now on, they will be your parents who will look after you and protect you. You are very precious and we cannot allow you to fall into the wrong hands. I will now seal your scent and powers and transform you into a normal human being. This will hide you from those THINGS that are trying to get to you. Until you find your mate who will free you from this seal will your true self be revealed and your memories returned. I love you Sapphire. And I always will.” I said, tears already streaking down my face. With that, I started to chant and create the seal.

One final time, I lifted my daughter up in my arms, ready to send her up to the third realm. I kissed her on her cheek one last time and said my final goodbyes. Just before I let her go, she whimpered to me in almost a soft inaudible whisper “I love you mummy, see you soon.”

I gave her an almost sad smile as I released her from my arms, watching her rise to Earth into her new parent’s arms. She will never remember any of this until the seal is broken and I knew that this may be the last time I will ever get to see my daughter again. I stared up at the ceiling, and whispered “I’m coming darling. Wait for me.” It was time to join my husband as I heard footsteps coming up to the room.

“WHERE IS SHE YOU BITCH?!” A cold, raspy and heartless voiced snarled at me. I turned around and saw 8 of Satan’s most trusted demons. Their eyes were red and glowing. It was obvious how angry they were as they growled at me, showing a set of sharp fangs, ready to kill. I wasn’t afraid of them for they could not harm me. I couldn’t die. I gave them a smirk.

“Took you creeps long enough to find us. Well, you’re too late. She’s gone and you’ll never be able to catch her.” I laughed.

I started to chant as waves of smoke surrounded me; it was time to vanish to join my husband in the first realm where I knew those evil creatures will NEVER be able to enter.

“NOOOOO!!! GET BACK HERE AND TELL US WHERE SHE IS!!” hearing them scream as I vanished into thin air.
