Torn Between Two Worlds

Adopted O_o

ALENA'S POV :

               I can't believe it. I haven't seen Matt since I the day I got adopted. I was supposed to be adopted.  I was supposed to be adopted by Matt's family from my dad side or by my other cousin Skylar from my mom side, both of the families refused to adopte me. I haven't seen Skylar since I got adopted. I don't remember what she looks like.

              I think Matt didn't want me to reconize him because, once I said his name sweat started to form on his forehead. I saw emotions cross his face worried, shocked but they looked disappeared quickly as they came. "Alena" I heard him whisper my name, it sounded more like a question. I second later after he recovered from his shocked, he crushed me in a hug. "Alena I missed you so much, where were you all those years? I looked for you everywhere. Are you okay? Are you here by yourself ? Not to be rude or anything why are you in a high school especially this one? " he managed to ask me all of those questions in one breath. He huged me again tightly as if I am gonna disappear.

               I heard two angry growls. One from the girl that was standing next to Matt before I we saw each other and the other one from the Hot guy I bumped into earlier. I think the girl is his girlfriend, I think both her and the Hot guy are werewolves because, new human like me can growl like that. I pulled away from Matt " Hi" was I manged to say. I was too caught up thinking about the Hot guy, when I bumped into him our hands touched I felt this tingling sensation and  electricity going through my body. I felt like I was being pulled toward him.

         " Really that's all you managed to say after all I said" Matt snapped at me and gave that 'are you serious' face. Matt has always been the sassy queen but, he could be serious when he wants to be. "  Well look at you, still the same sassy queen. You still didn't chang." he narrowed his eyes at me. I haven't realized that the Hot boy and the girl joined our conversation. Matt's eyes darkened. "Is that a bruise" he pointed at my bruise that was located under my jaw line. "No" I said as convincingly as possible. I put makeup on it this morning to hide it but, I guess I didn't do a good job because Matt said "what happened" his eyes turned black. "He hit me" I said with tears rolling down my cheeks. "Who" his voice softened a little but got twice more angry than before. " K..kkien...Kien Anton" I manged to choke his name out before I started sobbed in Matt's shirt.
