Torn Between Two Worlds

ALENA'S POV :

         I woke up feeling someone shaking me.

        "Come on Alena wake up already" I heard Matt's voice yelling at me.

        "Sure, sure  five more minutes".

        "Alenaaa!!! you have 30 seconds to get your butt out of this bed".

        I ignored him and went back to sleep but, not for too long. Matt pulled the cover from underneath me that caused me to fall and roll on the floor.

        "Mathew Grace you better run for your own good!"

         I didn't have to say it twice, he was already down stairs in the kitchen making breakfast for both of us or he better be making for us not only for himself.  I started to get ready I put on a gray shirt tied it to the side and add a paige petite sweater on top of it and some washed black shorts. I did my makeup light and added some accessories and ran down stairs for breakfast.

        After breakfast, I took my car and went straight to school, leaving Matt behind because he had to fix his hair, ''that was out of place'' ugh typical boy! I worry about him sometimes. 

        I met Arianna by her locker since her locker was right next to mine. It was kind of weird in this school, how the lockers were arranged, it goes Matt, Arianna, Me, Jacob, Shawn, Mirette, Angela and Jordan. I think it has to do with the mates thing.

        "Hey Arianna!"

         "Oh hey Alena, I heard about the date, and I am coming over to help you dress up and do your hair and makeup."

         " Um.. sure why not I actually have no clue on what to wear but, who told you about the date."

        "Oh Matt or Jacob, I must have forgot to mention to you that Jacob and I had been friends since we were toddlers so, he may or may not have told me."  

        "No one told me before so, you want to come over around four-ish...oh I almost forgot, don't wait for Matt he will probably be here by the end of homeroom."

        " Wait let me guess. Fixing his hair! "

        " Yup!"        

        " That sounds like Matt to me, I sometimes question myself, why am I with him again?"

        "That's a great question that I have no answer for."

        The day went really fast, it was already my free period which was right before lunch which I also have with Jacob.

        "So Alena, I was wondering if you want to go sit outside for this period for some fresh air," Jacob asked me.

        "Sure, I could use some fresh air right now."

        We sat down on the grass, an arm length apart. 

        "Jacob can I ask you something."

        "Ya anytime you want."

        "Why did you ask me out on a date the same day we met like why didn't you wait till we get to know each other?"

         " Why did you say yes?"

       OH NO HE DIDN'T!!! Please someone tell me he didn't just answer my question with a question.

        "Why don't you answer my question first?"      

     " Because my answer depends on yours and, before you ask how, can you just answer my question first."
