"Dad?" "Yes percy?" "What are the mermaids?" Poseidon looked confused at his son. Hasn't he already answered himself while asking the question? "Well...obviously they are sea creatures that are half fish half human" "no, I mean how were they created?" Poseidon yet again looked lost "why would you want to know?" Percy shrugged. "Well...the first ones were actually cursed to be like that" his son kept scilnce for a second. "Could I become a merman?" His father quickly started protesting "haven't you listened?! It's a curse!" "Pleaseeee, then could you do so that I could change from human to merman and back? Please!" Percy nearly begged. "Why do you even want this as your birthday present? You want to be cursed?" "No, dad I dont see this as a curse. And also, a aren't Triton and your wife mermaids? Why can't I? You said I am the Prince of the sea but I can't actually go there, I need to be part of it dad. I want to interact with the citizens without them looking at me funny or realizing who I actually am." Poseidon sighed and started "well if so, I, by the power given to me, curse you Perseus Jackson to be a merman" they both flashed to the shore and when Poseidon finished speaking Percy was all curved in a sea green glow, that was very bright, now that it was night time. Percy immediately jumped into the water as he felt his body started shaking and changing. His legs slowly melted into each other and now as percy fell into the sea ground unconscious, in their place was beautiful blue tail with small green diamonds. Percy also got his hair color changed into a mix of bright and dark blue. A tattoo of a trident was on his now bare chest.

"Seaweed brain! Stop!" Annabeth couldn't stop laughing as I tickled her. "But Annie! I dont wanna!" I said laughing and kissed her neck. "Ohhhh" We heard behind us, and so piper looking dreamily at us. "Hi, Piper! What's up?" "Oh right! Everyone is waiting for you!" The council meeting! "Sorry, we are coming," I said while helping Annabeth stand. Quickly jogging to the meeting room with piper who muttered 'percabeth' as we were holding hands, we entered to see Chiron "look, children. We are facing a small problem, there are a lot of allies to Olympus and most of them are the major and minor deities.
But some are also titans. And thanks to Percy here, they are free and might have children that need a safe home. The question is should we build them cabins or a whole separate place?"
