Nordic Countries

Finland

Finland mostly speaks English when he's around the other nordics. It's because his language is the most unique and he doesn't want to confuse the others(or get singled out and picked on). Denmark, Sweden, and Norway think his way of speaking is cute, but they mostly keep that thought to themselves. Iceland thinks he should speak how he wants(though also knows that Finn is too nice for that). Norway and Denmark will occassionally tease Finny when he slips one of his words into a sentence. Meanwhile, Sweden will just silently smile at his adorkable wife. And stop the other two if they go to far with the teasing.

Sweden

Though Sweden is the least talkative of the five, he has tangled with both Denmark and Norway. Once Norway was teasing Finland a little too much for his liking. The Swedish man merely put his arm around his Finnish boyfriend and Norway took the hint to back off. Denmark and Sweden have fought each other over a lot of different things(mostly things from the past). They've even resorted to using weapons at times and the other three have to break up the fight before they get too violent.

Sweden generally cares more about his nordic family than he lets on. However, he certainly treats some better than others. Put in order how well he gets along with them: Finland(his lovable wife, would do anything to make him happy), Iceland(sees him as a sweet younger brother who he wants to protect), Norway(a snarky yet somwhat agreeable brother), and Denmark(his brother rival that he fights with a lot).

Iceland

Iceland secretly loves when the others pay attention to him. He's just gotten used to being alone for so long, not to mention teased by the other Nordics, that he has a hard time showing his appreciative or less irritated side. Whenever he gets loud, argumentive, or embarassed, he's actually really happy(usually).

There have been exceptions to the rule above, such as the time when Norway insisted that he call him 'big brother'. He felt disheartened that his friend seemed to think of him as a brother. So much so that he regretted bringing up his DNA test in the first place. Iceland wishes he could take it back and not have shown the others at all.

He wants Norway to see him as a man, not just a 'brother'. If he were completely honest with himself, which he rarely is, he's had a crush on the smartass country for a long time. Even though he teases a lot, he knows that Norway does actually care about him. He would be a lot happier if the other man could show his affection in a less embarrasing way, though.

Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Norway all have a secret meeting a week before Iceland's birthday to plan his surprise party. It's happened every year since they managed to catch him off guard. They all love seeing the young country pretend he hates having his birthday celebrated and hope one day he'll actually admit he likes it or at least relax and enjoy it.

Norway

Norway only wanted Iceland to call him 'big brother' to see him get flustered. He doesn't really want to be his brother. He actually wants to be a lot closer to Iceland, but he always ends up teasing him so much that he pushes Ice away. Though sometimes when it's just the two of them, Norway is surprisingly nice and calm around his friend.

Some days when he has free time, he will call up England and ask to hang out. If the other county isn't busy, he will come over and talk with the british man and his supernatural friends. Because of their ability to see things most others don't they share a special sort of friendship.

Denmark

Although Denmark has an obnoxious way of showing it, he really does care for the other nords. He tries his best to take care of Norway and Iceland, especially after Sweden and Finland ran away together. And even though those two rebelled against him(mostly Sweden), he didn't hold a grudge against them. He was still friends with both of them once they had their independence.

He mostly hides his true feelings and emotions by smiling and pretending to be happy all the time. He began doing this for Norway's sake when he was having a hard time. Eventually it grew into a habit, and now he just keeps up the act for his other friends as well. No one has the heart to tell him that they can tell he's faking it(even Norway, who's irritated by his facade the most).

AN: May make a part 2 to this. I do adore the Nordic Countries, more than I probably should. But they're just so cute and close to each other if you see how they act around each other.
