Chapter 13: Dad?

Lexi POV

"Its me, My baby girl, Its Austin"

Austin.Austin.Austin. It doesn't ring a bell.

Wait

"Dad?"

"Yes! Its me your dad" He said and hugged me. ITS MY DAD! I haven't seen, or listened to his voice in a while. Its so wonderful. To feel the presence of the person who created you right here in my arms. I didn't wanna let go. Wait. He left me. Just as i remembered that i pushed him away.

"You left me" I said quietly.

"No, baby i didn't leave you" He said getting closer to me. "DONT....get any closer" Nash said. Oh crap i forgot he was here. "Thanks Nash" I said and smiled to him.

"Whose this?" Austin said. Im not calling him dad until he tells me why he left me. "You don't deserve to know who am I after you left her for.....How long did he leave you?" Nash asked me. I wanted to laugh but this isn't the right moment. "Two years...." I said. "Yea what she said" He said and i could help it but to giggle quietly. Thank god they didn't hear my giggling.

"Honey, I left for a reason" He said and that caught my attention. "What was the reason?" I said and he sighed. "Sit down and ill tell you what happen" He said sitting down in the grass and me and Nash did the same. "Don't leave me" I whispered to nash ear referring to not leave me alone with him. Austin. "I wont" He said and put his hand around my shoulder. His heat made my heart melt....SHUT THE FUCK UP! I said to my self this isn't the correct moment.

"Didn't you read the note i left you?" He asked. "No, my mom burned it and she didn't let me read it." I said sadly. "Well your mom and I started to get into a lot of fights. I know you remember those fights/arguments" He said and looked at me. "Yea, i do i locked my self in my room and tried to imagine a family that is.... normal" I said. "By the way what happened to your mom when i left?" He said and i wanted to cry. "My mom became depressed....She started going to the club called Frozen every weekend and brought home some strangers and you know they did stuff....She is always drunk and she started hitting me." I wanted to break down but I didn't wanna show I'm weak and Nash thankfully holded me tighter "She started abusing me and telling me ugly stuff. Last time i remember my mom wasn't like that. She was nice and caring but when y'all started with the arguments. She changed. Then you left and she turned from a pretty little flower to a rotten one." I said looking at the grass I just pulled from the ground. "Its ok babe im right here" Nash said into my ear. "Im so sorry" Austin said and that caught my attention. He had tears in his eyes. His hazel eyes were all watery and tears running down his face. "I didn't wanted it to turn out like this" He said. Wow nash must feel really awkward by now. "Its getting late. Can you come to that starbucks down the street tomorrow  morning? So i can tell you what happen" He said getting up and nash and i did the same. "Fine, w-hat T-time?" I nervously asked. "Around 9?" He said. "Ill meet you there" I said. I wanted to hug him but not until he tell me why he left me. Then Nash and i walked away back to his car.

"Must have been awkward for you" I said to nash and he chuckled. "Kinda but i need to learn how to comfort a woman. So i can comfort Sky when shes older" He said and we both laughed. Fuck.... Sky! I forgot i had to babysit her tommorow all day. "Nash i forgot i had to babysit sky tommorow" I said and his smile turned into a frown. "Your gonna go meet up with that guy?" He said. "Yes I want to know what happened" I said and he sighted. "Can i go with you?" He said. "No i dont want you to feel more awkward" I said and he smiled. "Im not i wanna be by your side." "Thanks nash but i rather go alone."

"Uhhhh.....Fine ill babysit sky until you come back" He said and i kissed him.

"This is why i love you" I said

"Love you more" He said and we got to the car and he started to drive. "After your little playdate with you dad come straight to my house" He said and i punched his chest. "Its not a playdate nash and i am gonna go straight to your house" I said.

After about 20 minutes i was in front of my house. I kissed nash good bye and sneaked into my room to avoid my mom. Thankfully she wasn't home. I hope he has a good excuse for leaving me.
