Taehyung's POV

"Now how about that ice cream?"

I raised my brow at her question, pondering on how I'm supposed to react. How can someone look so happy? I thought to myself, while looking back at the others, I can tell that they're also as confused as I am at her sudden energy after we all got out of the hospital. "..No" I sternly said, pulling her by the wrist to drag her into the car.

"Aish, What is your problem?!" She yanked her hand away from my grasp, tracing her fingers at it as she hissed a little. 

"I SAID that I got a date now, didn't I?" I harshly lifted her chin, making an irratated scowl emerged on her face, "...and I'm not planning to be late just because of some brat like you"

"Brat?" She tilted her head to the side, "Me? Let me ask you something Kim Taehyung.." She grabbed the hand I used to lift her chin and played with it along with hers, "Did I actually ask you to come with me? No. Did I actually try to stop you from going? No. Did you need my help for this date of yours? No, you don't and neither did I offered.. " She instantly dropped my hand and brushed me aside as she walked towards the others.

"Oh and.." she turned her back before giving me a cheeky grin, "...if this girl's anything like the one you brought last time, then I bet she'd love an assh*le like you" I stood there silently as Yoongi-hyung wrapped a hand around her waist, slightly smirking triumphfully at me, making me grit my teeth and clenched my fists in furry, taking in deep breaths as I reminded myself to just let her go and not to make a scene. 

It's not her, Tae.

It's not Valerie

Breathe Tae, calm yourself

Just forget about her and let go, move on

This is someone else

Don't be the idiot you once were

Dont make the same mistake

Don't break someone

Don't let anyone else get hurt

It's you who have to pay the price, Tae

It's you who have to bear the pain alone

The Valerie you love is already dead

Do Valerie a favor and leave her be

"Tae, you can go deal with your, uhh 'stands', we'll take it from here.." Yoongi plainly called out to me, snapping me out of my thoughts as he was already walking away with Valerie and the rest, while I'm left alone before Jimin abruptly turned to my direction and halted.
