Lunch Gone Wrong

TAEHYUNG'S P.O.V.

I was still on the urge of tearing someone's life. How could she sassed me out awhile a back? Surely we're no good for each other especially with our own attitude clashing together. Still gazing at the empty table, more like the 2nd prize table, the loser table. As much as I wanted to glance at BLACKPINK'S table, I couldn't. My members would totally shoot me such questions that I cannot entertain at the moment.

But I couldn't ignore Jin's act just a moment ago.. He shouted the same words with Jennie at the same time. Their shocked face went in-sync. I couldn't decipher what was going on, knowing that I was the only one noticed that scenario.

It was strange. I would be very very doomed if Jennie and Jin know each other personally, but then again they ignored each other acts but still, their quick stare and glances towards each other is killing my curiosity. I need to find it out as soon as possible. The agony is eating me up.

" Tsk!"

I got startled of what the sound came from beside me, coincidentally it's Jin. He's hiding his phone under the table. He's too focused on texting someone I must say.

But that's what is strange. He kept it hidden. He wouldn't hide his phone if he's conversing with his close friends. We may never know if he's in a secret relationship with someone but that's not the point. He was being weird earlier, especially by the presence of Jennie from the entrance of amusement park to this place.

"Ha! So sad of you." He whisper-laughed as he put his phone in his right pocket.

I snapped back to reality. I noticed that our food were being served. Now this is what I call perfect timing for such food. I smiled ear-to-ear. Jin hyung surprisingly peaked at BLACKPINK'S table. This is getting out of hand. He stuck his tongue out a bit yet enough for me to notice. I widened my eyes on what he had just done.

I followed his gaze, and just right there, Jennie. Throwing draggers at our direction as she smirked. I heard Jin's chuckle probably as to what Jennie had return. I could now see Jennie conversing with others, maybe Rosé-ssi I might add. She laughed right after their little talk.

Why does it feel like I'm stalking her or whatever you call it??

She looked through my eyes after the shift of her head. She had that widened-angry eyes. I stared blankly at her but we could feel the tense growing again. I didn't even bother to touch my food which is gettinf cold in a minute. Why did I even order wonton noodle soup? I could've just ordered Italian food.

I felt a nudge on my left shoulder, "Y-yahh, w-who you staring at?" Jin hyung murmured and kept his attention to me. I accidently shifted my face back to Jennie. Jennie got shocked as he noticed that Jin hyung were joining this staring contest. Jin's gasped a bit. The girl definitely looked away from us.

There's no way he'd know our past.

I attempted one last look to  Jennie's table, but to my dismay she's already glued on her phone. Their food were being given. But the sight of her facial expressions, she's being pissed and irritated. Then, she placed her phone inside her bag as she started to dig in with her food hungrily. What a huge appetite she still has.

"Ding!!"

A phone just dinged. I wonder whose that. I examined the 6 others. I felt someone moved beside me. It was Jin's phone. I simply leaned back to peak of who just texted him at the middle of the meal. Usually he doesn't check his phone while eating. That person must be really important.

Right there and... I saw it.
