He ran and ran.
Far away from the land of war.
Carrying his love one away.
From the cruel war that has made their world become horrible.
He ran not caring if he broke any of the rules.
Not caring if anyone was chasing him.
He just wanted to protect his love from any harm.
But the guards we're right behind his tail.
He didn't know what to do.
Until he saw a hole that only he could see.
He jumped in the hole.
Making the guards confused at what just happened.
But the man kept on sliding down into the hole.
Once he landed he ran to the circle that would take people to another world. Safer from here.
He placed her down in the circle, and kissed her lips.
"You'll be safe in that world love, far away from this cruel place, We call home." A tear rolled down his face.
His lover touched his face.
But he quickly removed it.
He knocked her out.
He cried even more.
"I'm so sorry. But it had to be done, love.
I have to let you go."
The man let go of her and placed her down.
"Also one more thing."
He looked down and kissed her stomach.
"Please keep our baby safe."
Therefore he said something to protect his lover and his child. Then they drifted away.
"I guess you'll be happy on that place called Earth."
He then withered away like a rose.
