The Opposite Wonderland

We made it to a beach. I don't know why but I overheard Mrs.Park talking about a portal at the beach or in the sea, so I guess it must be somewhere there. I went to the back of the car and open the truck to get my suitcase and my mom's. I walked to the other side of the car to give my mom her suitcase, then picking up Coco who seems like he's having the best dream of his life. I moved away from the car to see the beautiful sea. I sighed, well I guess Wonderland will help me take my mind off of everything.

"Ready Nathaniel?" Mrs.Park said in my ear.

I jumped, I didn't even realize she was behind me. She just smiled.

"Mrs.Park, why did you do that." I said  angrily.

"Well because you were in your own state of mind. I took the chance to scare you." She laughed.

My face became extremely red from embarrassment. But soon was disturbed by my grandmoth- I mean Alana.

"Everyone come on, we just can't stay here, we have to get a move on." She exclaimed.

Then she started running down the stairs, we than ran behind her. I can tell this is going to be a very long night.

...

"Okay, everyone on the boat?" Alana questioned.

"Ye-"

"Who are you guys? Why are you guys at the beach so late. Why are you stealing my boat?" Someone said.

We turned around to see a man around his 70's. We all look at each other wide-eyed. We didn't expect anyone coming out to the beach this late. Well, expect us, but still we weren't expecting anyone else to be here. We didn't know what to do, until Coco woke up, and jumped out my arms.

"Coco, what are you doing?" I whispered.

Coco walked up to the man, and started to climb up his pants, then landing on his shoulders. I clenched my fist when I saw that, I don't want anyone harmimg Coco again. But he was calm, he just looked at man. The man turned to Coco and then looked back to us.

"You're going to Wonderland aren't you?" He questioned.

"Yes, we are."

"Why didn't you say anything."

He turned around and grabbed a set of keys out of the sand, and handed them to me.

"Make sure you keep these safe alright? These keys will help you on your journey. Also my name is Nicholas, nice to meet you."

"Wait Nicholas? I thought you were dead?" Alana questioned.

"That's what I thought, but look at me now, I'm very strong and handsome! But anyway you should go before it gets to late."

"Alright thank you."

We then started up the boat, leaving for Wonderland.

Its been 50 minutes since we been on sea, but a bunch of questions kept on popping up in my head. I couldn't just sit there and think like an idiot, I have to ask someone. I turned to see if anyone could help me, my mom and Alana we're to focused on the sea  looking for the destination, so I knew they were no help, I turned around again to see Mrs.Park reading a book, so I guess she can help me with the questions I have. I walked up to her and sat beside her.

"Hey, Mrs.Park, how did that guy know that we were going to Wonderland and what did he see in Coco?" I asked.

"Oh how he knew we were going to Wonderland and what he saw in Coco, its because he sensed that the two of us were connected to Wonderland, including Coco. Also he probably saw a mark on Coco's body. Is it ok if I take Coco for a quick minute?"

"Sure."

I handed her Coco, she looked at his paws first, than his head, she gave him back to me, and replied.

"Yep, that's its."

"How many marks on his body?"

"There are 4 marks on his body to prove he was from Wonderland also he has alot of scars on his body, poor Coco was abused."

"I know luckily I found him just in time he was just only 2-3 weeks old."

"That's a good thing, also I forgot to tell you something, if any animal from Wonderland came to Earth, they'll age differently, so that's why he still looks young."

"Oh, okay. Thank you."

"Anymore questions?"

"Yes, does Alana hate me?"

"Oh, you heard the arguement. Well Nathaniel all I got to say is that she doesn't hate you at all, she was just so upset, from me asking so many questions she didn't know what she was saying, but Nathaniel she doesn't hate you at all. And I take the blame for some of it. So forgive me."
She said bowing her head.

"Its alright, but who is my real grandmother?"

"Your going to have to talk to Alana about th-"

The boat almost tipped over from the rough waves. I quickly got hold of Mrs.Park and Coco, I placed him in her arms and ran to see if my mom and Alana was okay. It seems like they're alright. I ran to them and looking back to see if Mrs.Park and Coco were alright. But the waves are getting rougher and rougher, I kept on falling onto the ground. I stopped moving when I a crack coming from my ankle, Shit! I broke my ankle I heard Mrs.Park getting up out of her seat. But she ended up falling on the ground.

"MRS.PARK!!"

I tried crawling back to Mrs.Park and Coco, I made it in a couple of seconds. I helped them up. Then went back to helping my mom and Alana. But I suddenly felt something grabbing my broken ankle. I tried to turn around but it was alteady to late. I was dragged into the ocean about to be knocked out by the waves, until I heard the screams of Mrs.Park, my mom, Alana, and Coco screaming out to me, but I could only hear them for only a couple seconds. I soon felt myself getting knocked out.
