Chapter 13

I walked into my house and my mom was in the shower and her phone was buzzing on the table and it was from my stepfather...I opened the text and read there conversation...I heard her come out of the shower and I quickly went through her bag and pulled out a bottle of drugs and set them on the table along with the phone...

My eyes filled with tears as she krept down the stairs

"Spencer?" he said sounding innocent

"YOU!! YOU LIED TO ME!!!!" I picked up her phone and threw at the wall and smashed it her heart beat raised

"YOU SAID YOU DIDNT WANT TO MISS ANOTHER BIRTHDAY BUT IT TURNS OUT YOU GOT KICKED OUT AND HAVE NOWHERE ELSE TO GO!!! YOU NEVER ARE GOIN TO GIVE UP DRUGS OR DRINKING ARE YOU?!?" I picked up the pill bottle opened it, I dumped the pills in my hands and crushed them. I threw the pill dust at her.

"Spencer! I'm sorry" she said

"NO YOUR NOT! ALL THE THINGS YOU SAID TO ME EARLIER YOU ONLY SAID BECAUSE YOU WERE HIGH!" I yelled and picked up her bags and through them outside

"GET OUT!" I yelled

"I'm the mother your the kid I tell you what to do!" she said

"Not here you don't!" she raised her hand and was about the smack me. I blocked it and slammed her against the wall

"Don't touch me!" My claws grew and then went back to normal "leave! before I throw you out this goddamn door" I threatened.

She went outside and sat on the curb like someone was gonna pick her up. I called my brother.

Him: hey Spenc what's up?

Me: Mom need to leave before she ends up missing!

Him: wait I thought she was already gone

Me: no and she lied to both of us..!!

I explained everything that happened and he was just as furious as me.

I locked the front and back door. I went to my room and fell asleep for a good 2hours and I woke up to an abrupt knocking my my window. It was Isaac so I let him in.

"Jesus you scared the hell out of me." I said to him then I heard the front door open. It was obviously my brother cause he had the key to the house I opened my closet and pushed Isaac in there "Stay quiet." I whispered

I ran down stairs and him and my mom again was back in the house.

I crossed my arms.

"She's only in here until I drive to the airport tomorrow." My brother said

"Okay" I walked back to my room and locked it and pulled Isaac out

"You have to go nows bad timing" I said kissing his cheek

"Okay" he smiled and climbed out my window an left.

I went down stairs and made myself some dinner not making any contact with my mom.

It was about 10:00 when I fell asleep. I woke up screaming with tears down my eyes and my brother holding me.

"Spencer! It was just a dream." he said wiping tears off my cheek "was it about-" I cut him already knowing what he was gonna say

"Y-yes" gasping for air

"It's okay your safe now and you'll always be safe with me" he said moving my hair out of my face. he kissed my forehead and went back to bed.

It was morning and I got up and went to my normal routine shower, clothes, hair, makeup, etc.

I got to drive to school because it was my birthday!!
