Chapter 24

Maddie's POV

When we got to school I saw Luke waiting outside.

We approached him and I let go of Ash's hand to hug him.

After i stepped back from the hug, Luke said:

"C'mon we have classes but you have to go to the office first."

"Ok..let's go." I said

But I noticed Ash wasn't beside me anymore.

I started to freak out but then I remembered that he had to go talk to his teacher about retaking a test.

We walked through the doors hand and hands and everybody stopped.

I stopped walking and said:

"I know I'm cute but close your mouth's you'll catch flies."

We made our way to the office where I saw a girl sitting in a chair.

She had curly red hair with black underneath,hazel (with some green) eyes and she was wearing a pink jumper with some skinny jeans.

She looked Ash's age but I think me and her would get along.

I walked to the front desk and told the lady I was 'sick' all week and she believed me!

"Oh..and Madeline,can you show our new student around?" the annoying lady asked me

Um..its Maddie but sure?" I said back

I walked up to the girl and she stood up.

"Hi I'm Amber" she said

"I'm Maddie, and I can already tell we are gonna be best friends" I grinned

And with that we all walked out of the office heads high and standing tall.
