He groaned as he once again turned in his dirty mattress and his injuries flared to life, the pain of them mind-numbing.

He held back a scream as he lifted himself up to his hands and knees, pain raging over his entire body. For four months his body was beaten daily. He didn’t understand; why wouldn’t he kill him? Why wait 4 months? What was going on? He didn’t know anymore, he was more lost than ever. Had his time come?

He held back his tears as the door slammed open. Here comes the daily beating.

“Get up. We’re going out.” Kurt said curtly, leaving soon after. He froze. Where were they going?

*

He tried not to gap as he was pushed inside a police vehicle. Where had Kurt gotten this?

“Today, dog, we’re going to have so much fun. If you dare mess up on anything, you’ll regret it dearly.” Kurt warned as he slid to the front seat. Miraculously there weren’t bars between the front and back seat. But for some reason Kurt had cuffed him. What was going on?

*

He tried not to drool and grin in mirth as he led his newest victim to his recently-stolen vehicle. She was such a fool. She had believed his story that her car had been hijacked and taken to the Police HQ’s after he abducted the criminal. Women are so stupid.

He watched as she stared warily at his dog, who dutifully kept his head down while keeping his cuffed hands in view. He discreetly adjusted his bulge; this would be such a fun ride.

*

He was sweating so much. His body throbbed and the cuffs were rubbing his wrists raw. The woman in the front seat kept staring back at him warily once in a while, while Kurt distracted her with his small talk.

Was this really what his life was doomed to be? Forever helping an insane criminal?

He thought back to his dear friends… Cathleen… Aaron… Damon…

                He missed them so much…

He missed Cathleen’s caring attitude, how she always stopped any fights and calmed them down whenever they got too randy.

He missed Aaron’s sweet personality, how he would be attentive and helpful at all times, even when he wasn’t feeling so good.

And most of all, he missed HIM…

Although all four were best friends, he and Damon shared a special bond… Something he never got to explore. Tears filled his eyes. He remembered the fights they had, the way Damon was always baiting him on. He missed that so much. A tear slid down his cheek.

How were they doing now? Surely they’ve all entered the academy, they’re probably excellent agents. Cat would be leaving jaws gaping wherever she walked, she had always been dazzling as a teen, and she must be gorgeous as a woman now.  Aaron would still be his meek self, still as sweet and still as slight. And Damon… he had always been so handsome… he must be making girls throw their panties at him, he thought ruefully, a small smile making it into his lips even as his eyes filled with tears.

His thoughts were interrupted as the woman suddenly spoke.

“Where are we going? This isn’t the way to the station, officer.”

“I know.” He heard Kurt mutter, a sadistic smile starting to surge on his lips. He heard the woman’s gasp as he pulled out a gun and pointed it at her, “And you’re going to sit there still and quiet, isn’t that right?”

He watched as the woman trembled in fear and his throat dried as the woman turned fearful eyes on him.

                “Then y-you-”

“He’s just my dog, he’s harmless. He’s even chained.” Kurt laughed in mirth and he couldn’t help flush in humiliation and rage.

                “B-But-”

“Quiet, I said, birdie. Now what’s your name?” he watched her lip tremble as she gazed warily at the gun pointed at her.

                “N-Natasha… Natasha Bakels.”

“I see.” Silence reigned the next long minutes. He trembled with frustration while the woman just trembled in fear.

With a sudden bolt of courage he darted forward and wrapped the cuffs’ chain around Kurt’s neck. The gun went off, its bullet penetrating the roof of the car, the woman screamed.

He screamed as Kurt grabbed a fistful of his hair and tugged painfully, the gun now forgotten.

“RUN!” he screamed at the woman who just sat there flabbergasted. “Reach into my pocket and take the paper! QUICK!” he screamed. The woman was quick to do his bidding. “Show it to the police, it’s important! Now run!” she turned and ran for her life, running back the way they came, discarding her purse and jacket, but with a bloodied paper in hand.

He tugged harder on the chain, trying to suffocate the motherfucker but his world took a wild ride as the car veneered out of the road and slammed against a tree. He groaned as he rubbed his forehead, it was wet.

“You little bitch!” he heard the scream before his head was banged painfully against the dashboard. His world turned black, Kurt’s enraged screams playing in the background as his head was slammed over and over against the dashboard.

*

A police officer was sitting calmly at the front desk when a woman came dashing into the station. He eyed her warily as she ran towards him. Her clothes and hair were a mess and she was breathing hard. On her was a bloody paper. He warily stood and pulled out his gun. The woman stopped and held up her hands.

“I-I need help!” she begged. “I was kidnapped!”

The officer frowned, holstering his gun. “What’s the matter, Miss?”

“T-This man! He pretended to be a police officer and tried to kidnap me! The boy! He-! He helped me escape!” she said in one single breath and the officer urged her to sit.

“A man? A boy?” he calmly asked.

“Yes! A man tried to take me! The boy… he had ginger hair! He-! Oh God, he helped me! He-He gave me t-this!” she handed the officer the paper.

He frowned as he took it and his eyes widened in recognition as he saw what was written in it.

“A moment, Miss.” Running to his desk, he quickly phoned a number. “We might have found a clue to Killer K’s whereabouts, contact the Special Squad, we have his latest victim in custody.”
