"Mom may sasabihin daw po kayo? What is it?" I told her as I put my bag in the couch tas pumunta akong kusina and sumunod naman si mommy.
"Your dad and I already talked about this and napapayag ko siya so..." nag gagawa akong sandwich and then, "Why are you doing that? Pwede ka naman magsabi kay manang." Sabi pa niya.
"Mom, alam mo naman na ayokong pinagsisilbihan ako." I told her as I took a bite from my sandwich.
She smiled and said, "Ohhh. I raised my child right."
"So mom, what are you going to tell me?" still eating. Yes matakaw ako. I admit that.
"Oh right. As I was saying, your dad and I came to a conclusion and we accepted a marriage proposal for you!" I stopped eating and turned my head to her direction. She's smiling brightly as if hindi malaking desisyon yon.
She then said, "Congratulations! You are engaged!!" She happily clapped her hands na parang good news talaga tong binabalita niya sakin.
I choked on what I'm eating. Are they serious??? Sino ba naman ang seseryosohin ang ganitong scenario, right? I'm too young to be married! Hindi ako papayag!
"Oh honey, Manang can you get me some water?? Pakibilis please." she went to my side as she shouted to manang.
"Mom!!! Are you serious?? I'm just 17!" sabi ko agad after makarecover. Buti na lang mabilis si Manang kung hindi bka hindi na talaga ako makahinga sa gulat.
"Yes we know that's why you're going to marry after you graduate. Gawin niyo na lang tong time na to para mas makilala ang isa't-isa." She winked at me and akmang aalis na siya then she turn her back at me again and said, "Don't worry honey, you'll gonna love him!" and she left.
Nasa past ba ako? 2019. Arranged marriage. Lol hindi sila dapat pagsamahin.
