A/N:

I thought the song was appropriate...

Ok, I promise the next chapters won't be as dialog oriented as this one, but it was necessary to follow the script for this.

Enjoy!

SLAP!

I watched as a Genomorph went flying into a wall.

My feet stumbled and tripped over themselves, trying to get a bearing of my surroundings.

Where was I? What happened?

I shook my head, clearing most of the fuzziness out of my eyes and head.

I was standing in a hallway outside the cloning room door. Superboy was standing next to me, his eyes trained on the fallen Genomorph from my shoulder.

"Thanks, big guy," I muttered, surprised at his actions. "Let's go save our new friends, shall we?"

We ran to the door, as screams of pain sounded from the other side. I winced in guilt.

"Mind getting the door for a lady?" I inquired.

Superboy smirked, and then ripped the metal door off of its hinges, holding it above his head.

I gasped at his unusual entrance. "Show off."

My eyes turned to our objectives.

"Hello, boys!" I announced to the room, as Superboy threw the door away. I walked quickly to the controls, flaring my powers if anyone came close.

"I'm here to take some of my friends back, care to step away? Or do you want to go down the hard way?"

My fingers flew across the controls, calling off the electricity.

Desmond sounded shocked. "What are you doing? I told you to get back in your po—UGHH!"

I snapped my head around to see that my new partner had taken care of all our opposers—simultaneously.

I shot him a fake glare. "Could you please stop being a show-off?"

"Don't give me orders," Superboy growled.

"I can't tell if that was aimed at me or Desmond," I muttered.

Kid Flash yelled, "So are you here to help us or fry us?"

There was an awkward moment of silence. I honestly didn't know what to do, so I started climbing on top of Robin's pod, trying to get him out.

"Huh, guess I don't have heat vision, so helping is my only option," Superboy said.

I snickered as I heard a minuscule sigh of relief coming from Kid Flash.

Hsss.

The pod door below me suddenly opened, and I saw Robin putting away a lockpick.

"There was no need to try and help me, Cyril, though Batman would have had my head for taking so long," he said, jumping out of his mini prison.

"Dude, that's what you're worried about? The whole League will have our heads after tonight!" Kid Flash snapped.

I rolled my eyes. "Boys."

Robin turned to Superboy. "Free Aqualad! I'll get Kid Mouth."

"He's not going to like that," I said under my breath.
