A/N:

So, I've decided to do something a little different with the plot than originally planned because we all know what happens to the YJ team through the first-ish season. I wanted to do something different because I knew that just writing my character in the already existent story plot would bore you guys.

This chapter will mostly focus on where everyone is after Aqualad confesses about the Mole on the team.

Enjoy,

Chatty

Two months since I left, accused of being a traitor.

Two weeks since I got a lead on who I am.

Two days since I last talked to anyone.

Two hours since I have been sitting on this roof.

I sighed as I watched the empty warehouse, hoping something or someone would enter. This is the part of the mission where I usually start to miss the Team and Robin's terrible jokes, or Aqualad's inspiring speeches.

My watch beeped, telling me it was 2 AM, and I got up from sitting on the roof--my thoughts still focused on what happened two months ago.

I remembered it clearly:

Aqualad turned to the group of us, his face solemn and tight in remorse.

"We suspect there is a Mole on the team."

I stifled a small gasp, as did the rest of the Team.

Robin glared at Aqualad. "Why didn't you tell us this before?"

"I did not want to risk saying anything just in case our Mole had other things to accomplish when they were found out."

"But," I started, "that means the Mole could be anyone here in this room..."

A silence fell upon our group, and Roy (or Red Arrow), who was silently watching the argument this whole time, started backing away from the group.

"This is why I work alone," Roy said quietly. "The Mole could be anyone. Like Blondie over there."

He gestured to Artemis, who widened her eyes.

Roy continued. "Or it could be the two laboratory experiments you guys saved."

Miss Martian immediately flew over to Superboy, giving a silent message that she trusts him.

'Of course,' I thought. 'That was obvious. They both have feelings for each other.'

I realized that everyone was staring at me.

"Oh, you can't be serious," I said, my voice shaking a little. "I'm not the Mole!"

Robin took a tentative step forward. "Maybe you aren't the Mole consciously, but an order or program may have been planted in your mind subconsciously."

"I--"

"Cyril, we just want to make sure you aren't the Mole," Wally said. "Calm down."

I hadn't realized that I summoned some Darkness to my hands.

I could sense Roy coming around my back, and Artemis pulling out an arrow.

"Don't you see what they're doing to the Team?" I said, ripping off my mask to reveal tears in my eyes. "They're trying to tear us apart with this whole Mole idea!"
