Chapter 6

Tori's p.o.v

I really love all the girls, they have become my best friends. Today Nayeli told us she got a boyfriend, who was Nash Grier. He seemed nice but I don't know, he seems too nice.

I pulled Ella, Kayla,Madi,and Alyssa into the other room.

"I don't like him." Ella said, which surprised me, she usually keeps those kinds of things to her self.

"None of us do. I've seen him kissing like 5 girls in the last two months." I say.

We nod and walk out Nayeli is on her IPhone texting Nash.

"Nayeli,we need to talk to you." Alyssa says.

" Nayeli we have seen Nash with 5 other girls in the last month," Kayla starts.

Nayeli's face changed from normal to mad.

"Before you say anything," Ella says. " I have been you're best friend since 2nd grade and I love you. Nash is going to break you're heart and I just-"

"So you're not happy for me?" Nayeli says starting to cry.

"We are but..." I say

"Just leave me alone!" Nayeli yells and storms away to who knows where.

Ella's p.o.v

As Nayeli runs away from the house I know exactly where she is going. When we were in 3rd grade our families took a trip to L.A. Nayeli's parents were fighting and she ran off to a dock by the beach. Ever since that year we go every year and when ever she's upset she would run there.

I took off and caught up to her. When I got to the dock she turned away from me.

"Nayeli."

No answer.

"Nayeli!"

Still no answer.

Funny. I was wearing the batman shirt we both got at the mall.

"Fine. I'll try my hardest to forget about you even though I never will." I say while starting to cry.

I dart home as fast as I can. Why do I always have to be there for everyone else? I'm done.

I run into O2Ls house and into Connors room.

"What's wrong?" he says while hugging me tightly.

"Nayeli is dating Nash and he's not good for her but she thinks he is and I tried to apologize but she won't listen and know I lost my best friend over something stupid!" I say quickly.

Connor kisses me and tells me to calm down. Next thing I know I slowly drift off to sleep.

Nayeli's p.o.v

I couldn't believe e them. But when Ella chased after me I should've said something. anything. But know I've lost her. she was what kept me strong, happy, confident. Whithout her I am just a weak, sad, insecure girl.

I didn't come home that night. I softly knocked on Ella's door. Her mom answered

"Ella is over with Connor right now." she said.

"Okay thank you" I said.

Since it was dark she couldn't see my smeared makeup.

I didn't bother. Connor loved her so she probably told him and then he told the boys and then the boys would be mad at me.

I went to sleep and wished none of this had ever happened.
