“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.”

― Bil Keane

The party was great. Besides all the other countries that had came, two others had came as well. I recognized one the girls, which was Alice Kirkland, Arthur’s younger sister and capital London, but the other I did not know. She was on the short side compared to the other countries with light brown hair and light violet orbs. With those eyes, she was probably either one of Matthew’s provinces or one of Russia’s cities, probably Moscow. Those were the only two I knew with violet eyes similar to her eyes, but I thought they were pretty too. Alice had the brightest shade of green eyes like Arthur’s but hers had a bit more innocence in them. I should probably state why I was not conversing with said girls now.

Alice had walked in to the room wearing a green blouse with ruffles on her chest, black dress pants, and her blonde hair up in its usual ponytail, I could tell she was also wearing make-up to cover the freckles she hated so much. Of course Arthur was not pleased that she didn’t come earlier to help with setting everything up. Her excuse made him even more annoyed.

“Igggggggggggy.” She whined like a child, pouting a bit in a more joking matter. “You know I love to sleep, dragging me this far for one meeting is unethical!” She said, pretending to be a child that was acting serious by putting on a pouty face with puffed out cheeks. It didn’t last long till she burst out laughing at how Arthur’s face had turned bright red with angry now. He let out a annoyed sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose with his thumb and forefinger. Though, no one in the room could not deny that this scene between the siblings were quite funny, though I swore I caught Romano blush when his eyes landed on the pouty face Alice made.

Then she looked over at me as I let out a giggle and wide grin broke on her face then she ran over to me with outstretched arms. She quickly picked me up in her arms and whirled around in a circle. I hadn’t expected her to be this happy to see me once again, though I was worried she would see right through me. In truth, Alice had always been able to look me in the eyes and see straight into my soul. It creped me out at first but then I got used to it. Gently putting me back down on the ground after Arthur yelled at her, the blonde laughed and then released me.

“It is so good to see you are finally at one of these boring meetings, (f/n)!” She said happily but before I could even say ‘Likewise,’ a grin broke out on her face and she quickly grabbed a plate of Arthur’s scones and hid behind one of the couches, right into of the double doors. What was she doing? I soon found out when China walked in and was pelted with a scone form a snickering Alice.

“Aiyha! What was that, aru?!” He said, surprised by the black object that left a red mark on his forehead.

“It was a rock!” She yelled form her hiding place, but there was a crash and we all looked at the window that now had a hole the same size as one of Arthur’s scones. Arthur glared over at where Alice was hiding but then another person walked in. It was a girl this time, with light brown hair that reached only an inch or two past her shoulders with a light violet color for her orbs. Alice let out a small squeal at the sight of the girl, grabbed a scone, ran up to her, only a foot between the two girls which made it visible that the brunette was shorter by a good bit. Alice had a large goofy grin on her face then tossed the scone at the girl’s forehead then ran away while the other girl stood there with a confused face.

“Abby! Join me on the dark side! We have rocks!” Alive called to the girl-Abby- making her sigh.

“Ya mean Arthur’s scones?” She said back as she stood where she was, making Alice huff then run over to her, grab her wrist and drag her behind the sofa. As the day went on, the two girls stayed there, throwing blacken scones at anyone who walked through the door until it came to Russia. That one was on Alice because she threw it at him, thinking it was someone else. He walked over to the two girls’ hiding place and picked them both up by the collar of their shirts’. Alice was visibly shaking at this situation while Abby just looked up at the Russian then waved.
