Willowpaw woke up to rain and fog. She shuffled around in her nest clearly tired. Yesterday redcloud had her pick the elders ticks all by herself, willowpaw still remembered the grumpy voice of quietheart as she picked up a big tick from his fur. She shivered as if it was a nightmare. She shook her pelt trying to get some rain out of her fur. The apprentices den has a hole on the roof and rain had poured down on her making her uncomfortable and soaking wet.  tinypaw shuffled around trying to get comfortable, and frostpaw sat up in her nest beside willowpaw. Morning willowpaw! Frostpaw meowed cheerfully. Willowpaw mumbled a "good morning ". How could she be so cheerful with the wheather like this? I love this wheather! It's so beautiful out! Willowpaw rolled her eyes. Then moonlily walked into the den. Hey willowpaw? Come here for a second. Willowpaw looked at frostpaw desperate but all frostpaw did was smirk a "poor you" look. Willowpaw scowled and followed moonlily out of the apprintices den. She had been disliking moonlily ever since the trip to the stream and couldn't help but feel annoyed with her. So, moonlily began, I have some great news! Willowpaw felt doubtful, this out to be good she whispered to herself. So you mentor redcloud is going to have kits! Isn't that exciting? Willowpaw was horrified at the "good" news. What!? Willowpaw screamed. I know right! Moonlily meowed clearly unaware of willowpaw's feelings. And guess who the father is? Moonlily said in a sing song voice. Who? Willowpaw questioned baring her teeth slightly. With Rockfang! So sparkstar said i could mentor you! Isn't this great! Mother-daughter bonding time! Moonlily said excitedly. Willowpaw hissed quietly, you not my mother! She yelled. Moonlily was taken a back. But I'm your fathers mate! That means we're kin? Aren't we? She said in the fake honey sweet voice. No! Your not my kin! And I want redcloud! Not you! I HATE you! And with that willowpaw ran as fast as she could across the forest and when she stopped she stood before the darkclan border. Then she heard a voice behind her, stop right there!
