Willowpaw ran as fast as she could and reached the border, panting and tired she started to lick herself, making herself look presentable for shadowpaw. Willowpaw? She heard shadowpaw question. Shadowpaw? Willowpaw meowed happily with a hint of sadness in her voice. What's wrong? Shadowpaw asked curiously. Well, my father and his new mate want to leave stormclan! And join rippleclan! And he wants me and one of my sisters to come with them! Then willowpaw broke down crying. Shadowpaw stepped towards her, gently pairing her back with his tail. Willowpaw I want you to know something, ever since yesterday when I saw you, I knew you had this energy in you I have never seen before, it makes me want more of this energy. And I like seeing you, and what I'm trying to say is, is that I like you willowpaw, I think we need to see each other besides gatherings and this border, so I want to take you some place special, follow me! Willowpaw felt a thousand times better then before, it's so nice being with shadowpaw! I wish I could feel this way all the time!  Willowpaw followed shadowpaw through the forest pine whipping her in the face but she loved the smell of the needles. Willowpaw we have arrived! Shadowpaw whispered kinda loudly. Willowpaw was amazed it was a tall hill that over looked the entire forest she could see rippleclan, stormclan, breezeclan, and darkclan from the top. This is amazing! Willowpaw meowed. I'm glad you like it! Shadowpaw purred happily. They spent the entire night up on that hill playing and wrestling and having fun. Finally dawn was approaching and willowpaw knew that the time she had spent here was coming at an end. We should do this again some time, willowpaw meowed wanting this to happen oh so badly. Shadowpaw smiled, I agree, how about every other night? Willowpaw nodded, she knew it would feel like years since she would see shadowpaw again. Goodbye willowpaw he meowed licking her cheek swiftly and carefully. She licked his ear happily, I'll see up you later shadowpaw! And with that the best night of willowpaws life ended.

     Willowpaw climbed back in her nest carrying a pinecone with her and smelling the scents of fresh needles and shadowpaw. Suddenly she heard a horrible painful sound coming from the nursery, she ran over to the nursery and saw redcloud laying on the ground snowfoot keeping the kits away from the wailing queen. Willowpaw tried to clam her down but it didn't work and she ran to the medicine cat den and yowled for Twigpool and yellowpaw to come help redcloud. Yellowpaw and Twigpool ran to the nursery swiftly, cats were starting to spill out of their dens all anxious about redcloud and how the kitting was going. Twigpool ordered yellowpaw to go get some boreage leaves for the queen and a strong stick. Redcloud continued to wail. Rockfang was pacing besides her worriedly he looked sick, willowpaw noticed with worry about the situation. Yellowpaw came back with a stick and the herbs, Twigpool nodded her thanks. Redcloud bit down hard on the stick causing it to break a little. Suddenly a little ball of fur came out and laid on the ground next to redcloud, redcloud panted, is it alright? Yes redcloud Twigpool responded it's a little tom! Suddenly redcloud hit another spasm, another little fur ball came out. Congratulations it's a she! Redcloud did this once more and another she slid out. Congratulations redcloud two she's and a Tom! Redcloud then ate the boreage leaves and began nursing the newborn kits licking their little heads with loving purrs. What are you going to name them? Yellowpaw asked quietly. Rockfang then stood besides redcloud, I think we should call this white and ginger she-kit, gingerkit what do you think? Redcloud nodded and I want the light grey Tom to be named sootkit, Rockfang nodded happily, and what should we name this black shekit with the pure green eyes? Willowpaw stepped forward, I have an idea if you allow me to share it. Redcloud nodded what do you suggest? What about brairkit? It's after one of my favorite stories about brairlight.
