I shook awake to find myself in the hospital. I felt arms wrapped around me. I looked up to see my mother. "Lucy....baby!" She cried. My father stood up from his chair and rushed to my side. "What happened?!" He shouted. "Where were you?!" "What HAPPENING!" The Doctor rushed in. "Lucy!" I started to lose air as my eyes got heavy. "N- NO LUCY DONT CLOSE YOUR EYES!" The Doctor yelled and rushed to my side as I closed my eyes.

I woke up to see the nurses and Doctors working on my leg. I looked up to see my mother in a mask and in a hair net. "Hang on sweetie!" I fell into a deep sleep. Awakened for the last time and the Doctor was talking to my parents. "Doctor...?" I asked. He looked at me and held my hand. "Hello sweetheart.. how you feeling..?" I shrugged. "I.. I'm not sure." Olivia rushes in and hugs me. She kisses my forehead and held me close. "Lucy I'm afraid we have some... bad news..." Mom said to me as she wiped her tears away. I felt frozen and looked at her. "W-What is it...?" I asked. "Did I lose my other leg..." I said in a worried tone. Mom smiled a little. "No baby, you didn't lose your leg!" I somehow had enough energy to actually smile. But it died when they told me the person who hit me was Blake. The police reports state that it was a drive-by murder attempt. "Blake was trying to murder me..." I felt pale and stared off into space. Blake... wanted me dead... "Blake got arrested for attempting murder..." Oliva quietly says to me. I didn't know how to feel at this point. I accepted his apology but... to kill me was... a quick turn...

Suddenly my Doctor stood up and smiled. "So... are you ready to try out your new prosthetic leg?" I suddenly felt the frozen solid me melted as I looked at the Doctor. "W-What do you... mean?" My mother jumps up. "W-we didn't buy her any prosthetic leg... What do you mean...?" The Doctor smiled and opened the door as Stephen walked into the room holding the prosthetic leg. My eyes widened as I saw Stephen. My Mom looked at Stephen and looked at me as I was blushing and looked at my new leg. "U-um... honey... do you know this man?" She asked and pointed at Stephen. I looked at my mother and looked back at Stephen who gave me a small nod. "Yes, she does..." My mother looked at Stephen. "I'm her boyfriend..." My Mothers eyes widened and looked at Stephen and turned to me. I awkwardly looked down expecting my mother to yell at me but she put her hand on my shoulder. I looked up and my mother smiled. "He... he brought a prosthetic leg for you... for us..." I looked at Stephen who came to my side and I couldn't help but hug him. I felt tears run down my face and my heart getting heavy. I was crying as Stephen held me in his arms. Mom smiled as the Doctor walked out to give us some space. Olivia hugged my mother and watched us from afar.
