(Chapter 05)

I can re-smell the hospital. "Hang on baby girl!" The darkness that held me on that hospital bed. "Oh my goodness, Lucy!"

<Moms POV>

I watched my daughter as she was rolled into the hospital. My heart broke into millions of peices seeing my only child crushed and hurt. Her eyes were slightly opened and her hair, face, everything about my wonderful sweet baby was hurting. I held on to the side of the bed as they rolled her. "M'am please, we will take care of the problem!" One of the nurses said to me as I shook in fear. "M'am can I sit you down and get you some water?" I held in the anger and raged at the nurse. "MY DAUGHTER IS HURT! MY BABY IS HURT!" The nurse held me still as I cried and yelled. My husband Nick came and took me away from the Nurse who joined the Doctors inside the surgry room.

Its been hours since my daughters been in the surgry room. I told her a million times to be careful. Yet what did I do wrong? My baby girl is suffering and I feel like its my fault. I thought about Blake and thought maybe he was here too. I walked up to the front desk and saw a lady sitting at the counter. "Excuse me, is there a boy here named Blake Rodgers?" I asked the lady. She looked up at me and gave me a 'one second' finger and went through her papers. I waited patiently as she looked. "Looks like He was just here after an car crash. He wasn't hurt so he decide to leave." I was surprised he didnt stay for Lucy but I nodded and went back to my waiting seat where my husband Nick was. He finished his coffee and looked at me. Putting his hand on my shoulder. "I have to go to work. Tell Lucy I love her for me." I nodded and kissed Nick on the lips as he grabbed his coat and left the waiting room. I looked down and sighed and thought it will be a forever later until I will see her.

Couple hours later a Doctor came up to me. I was resting on one of the couches. "M'am your daughter is done. Shes sleeping in a hospital room." I sighed in releif. "But I must tell you something that we had to do..." My heart dropped. "What is it Doctor?" He gave me a small sigh. "Your daughters leg was smashed really bad." He said in a whisper. "Where they got hit by the truck was from a way where it was able to smash her leg." I felt my heart drop again. "So we had to remove her leg... I'm sorry..." I nodded weakly and walked into the room my daughter was in. I saw her sleeping peacefully and I looked at where her leg would have been. I lefted the blanket slightly and saw one of her legs is gone. I put them back down and collaped next to my daughter crying over her. When I looked up to a sound of "Mom?" and I saw my Daughter who looked at me. I ran and held her hands as tightly as I could. Lucy I love you so much...
