The One

Pov Tsuyoi.

   It was the end of class. Akane and Ami stayed in the classroom with me to eat. They didn't like the other kids all too much. And most of them tried to take advantage of Ami's generosity and sometimes she'd end up not having lunch....at least that's what Akane told me. I've been here for about two years and I've never noticed her or Ami here...Maybe I just wasn't looking hard enough.
  The girls were both eating Roman, Which was one of the few things that I brought an abundance of with me for lunch. Sometimes the girls ask for other stuff but most of the time, They eat it. We were relaxing but Akane didn't touch her food much. Her head hung down slightly, Stare into the broth in the bowl as she spun her spoon around the edge. She seemed lost in her own thought as she swirls the broth.

"Akane-chan? You okay?" Ami asked softly. Akane quickly looks up from her bowl and then to both of us, Clearly flustered.

"W-what?!? Is the house on fire!" Me and Ami both snicker softly.

"No, You were day dreaming about that boy weren't you?"
"WHAT!?! NO!!"
"Seems like it. Even Ami agrees" Ami nods as Akane's face lit up like Rudolf's nose.

"S-shut it!"
"His Name was Leo right?"
"hm?"
"He hangs out by the swings in the playground by this time. I'd suggest you go ahead."
"G-go a-ahead and what?"
"What do you think? Talk to him" Her face brightened as she slurped down her Roman and then bolted out the door.

"Su-kun...Do you think Akane likes him?"
"Head over heels" Ami giggles as she continued to eat her Roman.

-Outside
Pov Akane(1st)

  Once I got outside I stopped myself for a second. WHY THE HELL AL I RUNNING!??! I leaned on the wall, Not out fatigue but in question. I don't like the random kid do I!?

"Hey! You there Akane?" I jump as my entire body stiffened and I felt my face heat up.
"Aww, There you are. I was looking for you darling. Where have you been?" Leo walked around the corner. I scanned his body, He was just a bit taller then me and had sharp green eyes That were something covered with his hazel hair. He's brush it out the way and each time the world seemed to slow. He looked at me with his eyes and upon closer inspection there were like an emerald color.

"O-oh hi l-leo! H-How a-are you?"
"I'm fine now that your hear. Anyway, Now that were free...I wanted to ask you something." I nod vigorously as I awaited his question.

"My father is having a dinner, Normally we don't let out life with school clash with our outside lives...More specifically our students, But for you I'm willing to make an exception."

"What is it about?"
"It's a mingle between teachers and the other staff. I planned to avoid Tsuyoi but If he brings you then I'll make sure he gets invited"

"Wait-" I looked at him for a moment. "Why do you not invite him?"

"Oh, It's was something that happened a long time a long time ago. Something about a car crash. You'd have to ask him. Anyway....Do we have a deal miss Akane" He extended his hand out to me and looked at me in my eyes. I grabbed his hand softly and laughed nervously.

"I'm sure whatever it is is in the past"
"Yeah, I second that. I see you at 8 cupcake" He confidentially walks off as my entire body melts. I CAN'T BELIEVE I HELD HIS HAND!! I slapped myself and calmed down as I walked back to Tsuyoi's Classroom. I stopped the at door as it opened. I jumped back out of reflex and it was Tsuyoi carrying Ami in his arms. She was fast asleep and Tsuyoi had his bag slung over his shoulder.

"We goin?"
"Yeah, We're heading home. I only have students for the first block. So we can go." I silently nod as I walk in behind him and grab my boots and put them back at so I could follow behind him. Them the thought just hit me....I ran outside without my shoes on.....My feet are gonna hurt like hell in the morning.
