Chapter 12: 1 Truth 2 Lies

(People when the finally finish reading the book they gotta do a book report on and it 2am)

Akane made sure that her shower was "quick", And by that I mean twenty minutes. I guess she wanted to make sure Ami was super clean. And her self as well. I guess she really wanted to make a good impression. Or atleast seem like she was making it work I guess, Either way she was try to impress him regardless. I on the other hand simply put on my dress shirt and then my teacher pants. They double as dress pants just for the sack of ease. Also, I didn't care to much about apprentice. Don't get me wrong, I know I need to look nice, But Looks only lead to lies, Something that I had to learn. I fixed m tie and then looks at myself in the mirror. My blue eyes looking back at me. My eyes showed the hesitation that my face and body wouldn't allow to be visible, I'd certainly meet Them at the party, But I don't know what to say. I know for first I should say sorry for what happened, I haven't talk to them since then so maybe they for got? I don't know, But I should be ready when the time comes.

A while later Akane and Ami speed down the hall Ami in a dress and Akane in a towel. "Yo numbnut! You gotta another dress like this but a Size bigger?" She spoke. I couldn't help but snicker and the moxy she had just exhibited. "No actually" I start. "But I know someone who does, He's a friend of mine and the one who owns the building."
I walk over and press a button on the door. After a few seconds I open then door and a dark skinned man walks in. "You rang?" He booms. Ami Tensed in his presence, and Akane put Ami behind her. "Sup Tiff, I need a dress for the girl." I said.
"Just one of them?"
"I only had one dress okay!"
"Gotcha, One second" He zooms back down the stairs then comes back up with a light green dress that was roughly Akane's Size.
"Wait! How's you know what Size I was!?"
"I Got that dress for Tsuyoi, also your taller then your little sister over there, So I went up a size, But of you don't want it-"
"NONO I'LL TAKE IT!" She bolts over and jumps up grabbing it and then speeds off. I pay Tiffeny twenty bucks for the dress and then he leaves.
Ami looks up a little scared still. I pick her up and giver her a reassuring smile. Neko ears perked up from her hair and then she started to Nuzzle me. I snicker a little as my real Cat was clearly Jealous. She meows at me and I kneel down and pet her softly. she purrs to my touch as Akane came back in.
"Okay! Ready!" she blurted. I snickered and grabbed my keys. I was about to enter the gates of hell...Atleast by My standards.

-The party.

  We pull up to the Principals Manner, And yeah you heard me right. A Fucking Manner! Anyway, We pull up on the close side of the manner. It had two sides, One side were you'd have to walk over a patch if grass to reach the door and other lot connects directly to the concrete, it's only for the teachers if the school, You can guess why I'm there now. We all exit the car sluggishly, Akane nearly Zooming out to my bit if shock. Her sister is normally the one with all the energy, But it seemed Akane had that covered. I close the door and open the door for then to come in, As I stepped in, I was nearly blinded by the lights of the room. After a few seconds I could see the walls off the large room I look below me to see Ami clinging to my leg and Akane was already gone mostly looking for The Leo kid. I snickered and pets Ami's Head to calm her. There were a few kids there and there was a little Area where the adults could leave their kids and go mingle. I knew Ami wouldn't like that, so I let her stay on my leg until I stop and spot a women in her late 30's and a man in his late 30's, They both were where formal attire and had dark blonde hair and light orange eyes. The women was short then the guy and I knew exactly who both of then were. They were were Illusa's Parents. The parent of the Girl that Was by my side till "that day" took her from this small world. I sigh and finally force myself to walk over there.
  "Tsuyoi" Said the Woman with a harsh stare.
"Tsubaki" I said back in a bland-ish voice. "And Good evening to you as well Renji" I bow to hopefully show that I'm trying to be kind. Ami  followed my lead and bowed as well.
"I wasn't aware of you have kids" His look turn harsh as well.
"Well they arn't mine. There were on the streets. They were student who got into the school but had nowhere to go, So I opened my arms and home to them, I've enjoyed having them both there." I replied. Ami did her best to smile but in the end she was clearly scared of them, And so was I.
"I see, Well then, I'm waiting to hear it" Tsubaki said holding her husbands arm. I sigh and bow again.
  "I'm sorry again for the death of your daughter..." As I'm mid-apology I look at Ami who was now glaring, The same glare Akane would give me when I say something stupid. Just as Quickly as I looked her in her deep purple eyes, I stood back up. "I'm sorry but no, I'm not apologizing anymore. I've moved on from her death, Then you should be able to except it as well. You have no right to force me to to relive the past. She Saved me that day! And I'm choosing the truth over a lie"
  Tsubaki looked at me in a but of shock, I could tell by the look on her face that she wanted to lash out and slap me across the face. I hold Ami close to me incase I have to run but Luckily, I didnt have too.
"Think what you like, But that doesn't change that we know about your secret" Said Tsubaki
"Yes, So I think it's best you watch you tone." Said Renji. They both walk about as my heart beats from my chest. They could be bluffing but at the same time, They could be telling me the truth.
