I always wondered, if my life wouldn't be the same as everyones. I mean as rare as powers were, mine were.....special. I wondered if anyone else had these powers. These....quirks that made them be treated differently. I was alone....alot, It wasn't always like that but that's just how my cookie crumbled. I became a teacher, Teaching kids with these so called "quirks" it was a way of life, my only way to avoid the loneliness, but at the end of the day I just go bad to what it was before. Thou, After today I wouldn't be alone anymore.

I walked into my class the students silencing once my foot stepped into the room. They all looked at me, they're young small eyes almost piercing me. I walked to my desk setting down my things and I returned to the center of the room.
"Is everyone okay?" I asked the class.
"Yes!" The class chimed back. I was never strict, I always employed the rule of never talk we someone who is your senpai is talking. I sat down and booted up my computer then returned to standing.
"Alright, we seem to have some new faces from what I've been told. So We're gonna do a little activity. I'm sending a paper around. He may draw, Write a poem, what ever you feel expressed yourself. Understood?"
The class nodded as a bit of chatter rang out. I took some paper from my printer and passed out a couple pieces thou once I hit the back, I saw two new faces. It was two girls, one hidden while the other brimmed with confidence. The one standing before me was dark haired, she had blue eyes the looked back at me from her rounded face. The other had blond hair and a red scarf on her neck, she looked at me through her thick rimmed black glasses and orange eyes.
"You two must be new here" I say in a low voice. The girl in front nodded.
"You both make sure to right down your names."
The one in front nodded as she took the paper from me. She handed it to the other to which I presumed to be her sister. I went back to my desk as the students begun to scribble away. I walk from me set.
-Twenty minutes later.
The bell for recess rings causing the students to rush out the door.
"Hey! Don't trip!" I snicker to myself as I walk around collecting the papers the the two girls now get up and walk out. The dark haired taking the hand of the other and walked out. I picked up their papers, and glanced at their names. Akane and Ami Ranca. I snicker telling my I was right all along but I'll know soon enough.

I looked at Ami's picture with wide eyes as I was dumb struck. A girl with this much talent might as well be the Leonardo Di Vinci of this age! Then I looked at Akane's and it read something like a story. "No matter how much we lose, life insists on taking away more, First our parents, then a happy, and now possibly my life. I don't want to stay in a world like this, but I can't leave me sister alone. Why does my life have to be so hard!" I was a bit shocked by what she wrote, she lost alot. I put their papers to the side for the time being as I went back to my desk, looking at at the clock.
"10:45" I put my feet up in the chair as the girls now walk back in. Akane stopped in front of me, keeping her mouth hidden in her red jacket. Underneath it was a blue kimono that went to her feet. And then some boots. "Hey, Your the teacher right?" She said in a bland voice.
"Yes"
"Then can I ask you a question?"
"Fire away"
*Ami seemed to flinch at the term fire as Akane gripped her hand a bit*
"Is fire bad?"
"Of course it is!"
"Why?"
Innocence plagued her voice as she looked up at me. I made a fire ball in my hand and held it for a bit then grabbed a paper sticking it in till it burnt away. I made it disappear then rested my hand on my thigh. "You understand?"
"So It burns stuff?"
"Yes, and I can hurt you"
"No it can't"
"Yes i does"
"No it won't see look"
She made me reopen my hand as she waited for me to make the fireball reappear. After a few seconds and a eyeroll I did so as she then stuck her hand through the ball. She kept it there almost touching the fie as an object. Her cloth showed no signs of igniting as she stood in place with no hesitation. She pulled it out then looked at her hand.
"Well my word, It seems your immune to fire"
"Yeah, I guess my sister can get hurt thou....can't she?"
I nod back in reply as I make the fire fade and she holds Ami. She looked up at me the fear painting her face a pale peach. I knelt down a bit and looked her in the eyes. She shivered a bit but then It slowed a bit as she seemed to get comfortable.
"You know you go home after lunch right"
"We do?"
"Yeah Akane you go home....But you don't have one do you?"
She looked away as she jerked up Her collar a bit.
"Akane is he a good guy?"
"Don't know Ami, is he?"
"Yes I am, I can give you a place to stay, that isn't a shelter"
"Okay, And! Why do you care?"
"Cause, Everyone has lost something, but sometimes other can help bring it back"
She looked back at me for a second then moved her collar down a bit.
"Then it's settled"
"Yeah, but just know I'll be watching you"
"You got it Akane. I bet you'll be on me like a hawk"
