the couple arrived the cafeteria looking confused as ever. after taking their orders and getting their lunch trays, the approached their usual table and sat next to the only person they can possibly have an explanation to their confused selves.
❝what happened to jisung?❞ mark questioned as he turned to face jaemin that looks unfazed about the situation.
donghyuck furrowed his brows, finding it odd seeing jisung smiling. ❝jaemin, did you cook breakfast for him?❞
the male looked up at the couple and then shrugged. ❝he refused to eat the food i made, he prefered macaroons.❞ he simply said, of course worried about jisung not eating breakfast but jaemin couldn't do anything about it.
just when they were about to ask jisung on his state, a girl came running towards their table and making them close their mouths and turn to her. donghyuck frowned as he snaked his arms around his boyfriend's waist thinking that the girl was here for mark meanwhile jaemin was pulling his tray close to him thinking that the girl was going to ask a chicken nuggest from him. while mark? he was enjoying his boyfriend being clingy to him and bit his lower lip to prevent himself from laughing at jaemin protecting his lunch as if his life depends on it.

the three of them widened his eyes as the girls wasn't there for mark neither for jaemin's lunch. but then again, it isn't something shocking to see a girl getting jisung's attention. jisung would usually just push people away without looking at them and just have his eyes on his phone. but this time it was different.
the three diverted their attention to the cafeteria door, seeing chenle coming inside while being breathless. they were sure that they saw jisung sighing so dreamily as his eyes were all on chenle, completely ignoring the girl standing next to him.
❝jisung, i made these chocolates for you.❞ the girl shyly took out a small pink box from her pocket and handed it to jisung who's not even sparing a glance at her.
❝i don't like chocolates.❞ jisung said, his voice being all so soft as he eyed chenle that's walking slowly towards them. ❝now leave before i embarrass you in front of everyone.❞
jaemin nodded as he gave the girl a pity smile. ❝he likes macaroons.❞
❝macaroons?❞ the girl then had a bright smile on her face. ❝i can give you—❞
❝he only likes it when this specific someone gives it to him.❞ jaemin sighed, remembering this morning. he had to call chenle and ask him to buy macaroons quickly as jisung won't accept the macaroons he bought. he find it fine though, at least jaemin gets to eat the macaroons he bought for jisung.
