Dear Ellie,
I'm so, so sorry I'm doing this. but I can't stay here. I wanted to tell you this morning but I couldn't. I just saw your eyes and I couldn't make them tear up again. I couldn't break your heart. I just couldn't. With everything that happened. with Joel and Casper, I just can't. I'm sorry I'm leaving you, and I hate that I'm doing it. You're the first person who cared about me with their whole heart.

"No, no no no." I put on my shoes as fast as I can and run outside. I can't see her. I run to the front gate as fast as I can. "Ellie, what are you doing?" I hear but I don't stop. I keep going until I'm there. I see her, on Arthur. The gate is about to close when I see her. "Y/N wait!" I scream and she stops. She gets down from Arthur and looks at me. I'm out of breath but I speak. "What.... what are.... you doing?" I ask "Ellie, I'm sorry but I can't stay, I don't know who to trust." She says while wiping away a tear. "You can trust me!" I blurt out. "I know, but, I just." She stops talking. "I have to go." She says. "Y/N no, I love you!" I say with everything I've got. "You can't leave me. not after all we've been through." Y/N looks behind me and Casper is there. I turn around. He comes closer and I look back at Y/N. "I have to go." She says and she climbs on Arthur. I want to walk closer to her but I can't. Casper puts his arms around me to stop me. "Casper let go of me!" I say as I try to wrestle him off me. Y/N takes off and I scream for her. She doesn't look back. "Y/N please!" And she is gone. Casper holds on to me a little longer but let's go. "This is you fault!" I say. He steps back. "She left because of you and Joel!" I try and hit him but he dodges it, so I almost fall over. He catches me. "Ellie calm down."

Casper calms me down and I walk to Gaia. I hug her neck.  She's warm. Her breathing calms me down even further.

Three weeks later

"Ellie, shoot it!" Peter yells. I fire my rifle and the bullet flies through the Runner's head. "Calm down!" I say as I fire another bullet. "Come on, up here!" Peter says. He climbed up on a bleacher and reaches for me. I jump up and he pulls me up. The Runners bump into the bleacher and starts growling at us. We walk through one of the windows of the building and jump down. "That was close." I say. "Yeah, it was." He sighs while wiping away the sweat on his head. "But it was fun though." I say and I burst out laughing. "Come on, let's go home." He says. We walk around the school and to our horses. I still have Gaia and Peter is riding on Harry. I put my bow in the little bag on the saddle and walk to the other side. "Peter, are you ready?" I ask but Peter doesn't answer. "Peter?" I walk around again and see Peter on his knees, a man holding a gun to his head. "Peter, what!" I say. I point my gun at the man. "Wait!" A voice says. A girl runs around the corner. "Barry, wait." She says and I see who it is. Barry lowers his gun and Peter gets up. He runs to Me."Y/N?" I say
