john tapped on the table nervously. the popular boy, alexander hamilton, had asked him out on a date.
it was clear that he was nervous.
was this a prank? is he actually gonna show up?
john asked himself. he let out a sigh of relief as he saw alexander walk through the door. he adjusted his glasses slightly and smiled softly as alexander sat down.
“so.. should we order?” john finally asked, after a painfully awkward silence.
alexander, who was on his phone, stopped typing and looked up at him. “sure.”
john nodded and politely called over the waitress and ordered the food.
john stared at alexander's outfit. he looked like the stereotypical bad boy. he has a nose ring, leather jacket, tight black jeans that had a chain attached to it.
“uhm.. could you out your phone down so we could talk..?”
alexander groaned dramatically at set his phone on the table, leaning back on the booth chair.
“listen, sunshine. i didn't wanna be here in the first place. it was a dare, m'kay? so don't get your hopes up, i'm never gonna ask you out.”
john sighed, “well that's good, i don't want you to ask me out anyways.”
alexander raised an eyebrow, “You gotta be joking. everyone wants me. girls, guys.. even non binary people want me.”
“not me,” john simply said, as the waitress gave them their food. john took a bite of his chicken tender, as alexander took a bite of his burger.
“y'know,” alexander hummed, taking a sip of his drink. “i take back what i said.”
“oh?”
“yeah. you're actually pretty adorable. i'd bet you'd you look even more adorable-”
“calling the cops for harassment? i agree.”
alexander rolled his eyes and stole one of john's fries, earning a whine from him.
“you have your own!”
“yeah, well, i want yours.”
john rolled his eyes and forced a smile as the waitress come over.
“can i get you two anything?”
“maybe a milkshake?” alexander suggested.
“how many?” she smiled.
“just one.” alexander replied, smiling.
the waitress nodded and left, coming back with the milkshake about five minutes. alexander grabbed two straws and put them into the shake.
it was a mint chocolate chip milkshake.
“want a sip?” he offered, as he sipped through one straw.
john hesitantly took a sip from the other one and sighed softly.
alexander smirked softly and kissed his forehead.
“hey. how would you feel about going out with me?”
//y'all get to chose. should john say yes or no?
