Into The Shadow

Chapter 1: Not me

Even thogh I am different from other people, I am still a person. People who are different like me are being picked for a game that supoust to start in a week. Before I tell what is going on now I am going to say what the game is about.

Peopel that are being picked are different, people that have power to controle things, people that is not a human, people that are mixed with animals, people that have theyr face hidded the whole time and people that have lived for a long time. The games is about that you are picked to protect a stone that is eather crystal, rubin or a diamon or something in that way, you need to protect that stone if you loose it or it brakes you are dead. You are also given a wepons of your choce. When you have the stone and the wepons you are put in a forest and there are many dangerous creatures that you need to fight. You can team up but many people would rather want to be alone. You have to survive for three months. Those games have been running for 25 years and there are 40 people from the age of 16-30 picked and every year has always been a one persone to win but I am sure there will be more than a one persone this year. People that are different are called Mord

I am a Mord, we are not many left because many of them have died in those games. I have cat ears and a cat tail and cat looking eyes and I can also transform into a cat whenever I want, my name is Lily Svan and I am 16 years old. People call me Lily Derp because I am a very random person. I also can trigger a aqua blue fire but I never do it so no one knows about that power. People that have two different tings are very rare and if people find out they are killed right away.

I am standing in a line with many other Mord people and see that there are not many kids that are on my age. They dont look scared they look rather brave but there are few Mords that are nervouse. I can sence if people are nervouse. I am standig betwine a tall man with fire power, I can see that he has fire power becouse he has red glowing fingers and he is also with brown hair and abit bearded, and the other person is a woman with dog ears, she is with black hair but it looks like she changes her haircolor many times. We are standing in a drark hall made of stone and infront of staris with giagnt glowy white doors on top. The door opens and Roman Sord, the Game creator, walks out with four guards around him. He is the one that Picks Mords to play the game. He is walking to the left end of the line and stars to look at us. I dont see who he picks but I see them go one by one to the white door I start to see how he picks till he is few people away from me. He is looking at a girl with a brown hair and blond fringe. She looks like she is about 20 or 21 years old and she looks like she isn't a Mord.
"Tell me what kind of Mord are you?" Says Roman and looks at her with sky blue eyes. She stays quiet for few seconds and the responds.
"I am a Shadow." Roman looks at her closely and says.
"You are going to join your kind and go through those doors. I want to see what you can do" and points at the white door. She starts to walk up the staris and stops half way up and looks back at a guy with his face half hidden under a white round maks with two circles for eyes and a black fading line wich supoust to be a mouth on the mask and it has one black string that is like a hair on the mask. I notice that he has blue eyes and brown hair. The guy looks back at her and gives her a sing to keep going. She keeps going up and goes through the door like the others. Roman walks by one persone and against the guy she looked at but Roman didn't see that they looked at each other and he asks him.
"Are you good at surviving?"
He answeres back: "I... guess so."
Roman moves and says "follow your kind."
"thank you." he says quickly and runs to the door. Roman picks one guy with blond hair and blue eyes, he said he has a thunder power. Roman picks another girl with long blond/brownish hair and brow eyes, she is a animal trainer, animal trainers are rare but not as rare like I am, animal trainer are basicaly people who can train animals very quickly just by looking at them. Roman walks by every one till he comes to the man next to me.
Roman asks him: "you look interesting to watch. Can I see what you can do?"
he answered confident.
"Yes, sir. you can."
Roman looks interester and says "go upstairs." the man walks up stairs and his fingers are still glowing red.

Roman walks up to me. I feel very nervouse and thing the same line again and again 'don't look at me. don't look at me.'
He stops, looks at me and asks: "You look also very interesting person. I have never seen a cat person before."
"maybe because we are very uncommon." I answere and that is ture Cat people are not very common these days.
"you know, there has never been a Cat person in these games, would you like to be the first one?" I can't say no to him last time someone said no to him was taken and never seen again.
"Yes, sir. I would gladly be the first Cat person to be in the games."
"Good. Now, follow the others." he says and moves the hand to show me the door. I walk to the stair and walk up to the door, I look back and see that the girl who was next to me is also picked. I open the door and what is behind it is just a corridor with many doors many of them are closed. I start to walk down the corridor and I come to a door where it is open. No one is in there there is a note on the door. the note says:

"this is you room till the games starts. People will come with food and ask you questions for what type of weapon you would like and will bring clothers that are spechaly made for you for the games. You have everything you need in this room you can go and meet the other Mords who are picked tomorrow. Take this note and close the door."

I take the note, walk into the room and close the door behind me.
