You wake up to the smell of pancakes beside you. "What the fuu..." You slowly slid off your bed, considering you were on the very edge of it. You hit the ground with a fairly loud thump. "Ouch..." You sit up and look at your dresser, which has your breakfast, and a note on it.

You could already guess what the note was for, so you just grabbed the plate and walked into the kitchen, sitting down and eating.

After you finished eating and were just about to go get up and ready to walk around and meet new neighbors, there was a knock at your apartments door. "Huh." You walk over to the door and peer through the peephole to see ridiculously long brown hair, a sanity falls t-shirt, and a small flash of blue from below.

"Just a minute!" You put your plate in the sink and walked to your room, putting on decent clothes other than your PJ's.

You opened up the door and were met by your two neighbors, Larry and Sal. "Hey guys, whats up?" You ask while stepping aside to let them in.

"Hey Y/N." Larry stated as he and Sal walked in, Sal gives his usual wave and you give your usual smile. "Have you had a chance to walk around the apartments yet?" He questioned you as Sal looked around your apartment from where he stood behind the couch.

"No, not really." You follow Sal's look to the carpets, and suddenly you get a cold shiver up your spine, and looks away. "Unpacking and stuff had me up all night. That's also why my hair looks like complete shit right now." You say, motioning towards your bed head.

"Did we wake you up?" Sal asked as he returned his gaze over to you and Larry. "Nah, I just finished eating breakfast when you came by." You say, shrugging. "What woke me up was falling out of bed."

"So that's what that thump noise was!" Larry exclaims as he pats Sal's head. "Sal over here was thinking it was some ghost stuff, Haha." "Eh, nah, just me being lazy." You shrug and gestures to your couch. "You guys can sit down if you want, I'm gonna go fix my hair."

"Alright, I hope you don't get lost in that tangled mess." Larry teased while Sal just nodded and walked over to the couch and sat down.

You walk off to the bathroom, where you proceed to brush and condition your H/C hair. Finally, you leave the bathroom and walks back into the living room. You were relatively quiet, so it's no wonder Sal and Larry didn't hear you walk in. But when you did, you saw them talking in low voices to each other. You caught bits and pieces of their conversation.

Something about a murder in this apartment and a weird red eyed demon.

"So, a murder huh?" You saw while you hop over the back of the couch, forcing the boys to move unless they wanted to be crushed into the couch.

"So, you heard us, huh?" Sal asked. but you felt like it wasn't really a question. "You need to work on whispering." You calmly stated. You heard him let out a small chuckle before turning to Larry. "And if a murder took place in this apartment I would like to hear about it!" You point a finger at Larry's nose, making the most intimidating face you could muster.

Larry and Sal glanced at each other before coming to a conclusion. "Okay, but you have to promise not to tell your dad." "Cross my heart." You say, crossing your finger around your heart.

And so, larry and Sal explained all about the apartments, the cult, and Mrs Sanderson, who, was killed in your apartment, apparently in the same spot you had caught Sal staring at earlier.

"You just can't tell your parents, any other adult that has learned has moved out and left." Sal said, his voice a tone of utmost seriousness. "Well, I did cross my heart, didn't I?" You say, casually shrugging. "And plus, I know how to hide things from my dad, it's pretty easy considering he always has work.

"Yeah..." Sal looked away from you and at his hands, which were folded in his lap. "Welp, we might as well show you around I guess." Larry said, standing up.

"Yeah, alright." You say, standing as well. Sal stood up too. You glanced down and pulled the hem of your glove further up your wrist.

"Oh yeah, I was meaning to ask, why wear the gloves?" Larry asked as you three walked out of the door of your apartment. "It's...something I'd rather not talk about." You say as you three enter the elevator. "Well that's fine, it's not like there's a law against gloves so yeah." Larry shrugged while you guys rode down the elevator.
