These boys were more attentive than you originally thought.
Not only did they know about more things in the apartment than you thought ANYBODY here did, they also noticed and pointed out your gloves, which would be a first for you. It made you feel...more protective of your privacy.
These boys has sparked some things inside you, you were pretty sure you knew what they were. You were less lonely around them, but at the same time, you were a bit nervous around them as well. You really did not want anyone knowing about your hand, much less everything else that was wrong with you.
Being lost in your thoughts, you didn't realize you three had reached the designated floor, until you hear a sigh, and a cold hand take your wrist and pull you out of the elevator. You were startled by this, and ended up pulling your hand back a little bit too fast, your glove slipping off.You shoved your hand in your pocket as quickly as you could in hopes of them not seeing it. "Heh...sorry about that..." You say, scratching the back of your neck with your other hand. "Could I have my glove back...?" You ask as you look anywhere but the two boys you were standing with.
"Oh, yeah, sorry about that." You heard Sal say, before he handed your glove back to you. You gave a small thanks as you slipped it on in the pocket of your hoodie. "No problem." He said as you three continued walking.
"So, where are we heading...?" You ask, trying to break the awkward silence that followed you three after the glove incident.
"Ever heard of Wendigo Lake?" Sal asks while you guys enter an apartment that was in the basement. "I mean, I just moved in yesterday...so no, not really." "Oh, you're gonna love it, it's so beautiful in the winter." Larry said as you guys walked into what you presumed to be his room.
"Oh, okay." You say as Larry and Sal lead you out a heavy metal door at the back of the room. You shivered as the cold hit your face. "How did it go from the middle of summer to winter so fast..." You mumble some curses under your breath and Sal lets out a small chuckle.

A few guitar notes floated in the air of the apartment 402, the source of the sound was coming from Sal Fisher's room, where he sat with his best friend, Larry Johnson. "So..." Larry spoke up, breaking the silence between the two. "I heard there's a new kid moving into the apartments."
At this, Sal jolted up. "Wait, really?" He set his guitar down and looked over at Larry. "But the only vacant room is 403..." A silence settled between the two once again as they both were lost in thoughts of their own.
"Then that mea-" Sal was interrupted by the sound of a large van pulling into the parking spaces right in front of the building. "That must be them..." Larry said, while getting up. "Lets go." Sal stood as well, grabbing his mask and putting it back over his face.
"Wait, where are we going?" Larry questioned while he shrugged his jacket back over his shoulders. "Isn't it obvious? To meet the new kid." Sal stated simply while he left his room, with Larry following behind him.
The two boys made it outside and greeted your dad. Your father asked if they could go grab some boxes, they agreed and walked over to the van, to see you inside already holding a couple boxes.
"Need some help with that?"

The memories of the earlier events of today kept rolling through Sals mind, he didn't really know why.
He just guessed that it must be because it was the first impression you gave. After all, he did find it absolutely hilarious, but he just wasn't sure. Upon seeing you for the first time, you seemed like a completely normal kid. But as he spent more time around you, even if it was only just a day and a half, he began to notice there was something different about you.
And no, not your gloves. He could get that you were trying to hide something, that was completely normal for him. It was just, you seem to have caught onto things pretty fast, not only that, but you also didn't take the paranormal activities of the apartments half as bad as he thought you would.
You never really messed up, it was like you could calculate every scenario and make the right move. But, when you did mess up, you would suddenly be very nervous. He didn't know if that was just your personality, or if it was the apartments themselves that put you on edge. You didn't really lead on to any explanation he could think of.
You were just, different.
And that's when he fell...over, on the ice.(owo) "WhoA-" He hit the ice with a thud. "Ouch...""Are you okay, Sal?" You questioned while you helped him up off the ice. "You kinda just spaced out and walked right onto the ice." You held back a snicker as he groaned. "Uh, yeah...Thanks Y/N." He said, brushing the snow off of his pants.
You, Sal, and Larry all sat down on the edge of the lake, watching the way the shade of blue changes as the sun gets lower. "You were right." You sigh. "This place really is beautiful."
"Would I ever lie to you?" Larry grinned at you as you let out a small laugh. "I guess not"
"It's getting late." Sal said after a while of just watching the water. "We should head back to the apartments before our parents start to worry."
"Yeah, alright." You, Larry and Sal stood up. "Let's go."
