"These are the only clothes I could find that would fit you," Allison offered a smile as she handed her a simple black dress that was much smaller than what she had worn on the trip here. Even if the dress had shown a little bit too much of skin, Rebecca was still grateful that Allison was willing to offer her some of her old clothes. But since she was a lot smaller than Allison when she was her age, that earned her to rummage through her closet just to find one that would fit her, "The bathroom is on the left, if you need to change,"
"Thanks," She rigidly stood up, rendering a smile as she stretched to take the clothing out of her hands, "I appreciate the help,"
If the meeting with the family couldn't get even more uncomfortable, the silence that was shared between the Hargreeves was more inconvenient. They were avoiding each other eyes, and their body posture had explained it all, "So...I guess...I'll be heading out of your way," Rebecca spoke up to save herself from the unbearable clutch. She slightly nodded her head as she turned her heel to leave the room, but was interrupted by the sudden questioning of Allison, "If I may ask," She rosed a brow as she turned to face her sister-in-law, "How did you and Five meet?"
Rebecca wasn't sure of what to say, she was going to leave the questions about their relationship to Five, but she doubts he was going to say anything about it. As half time, they spent in the meeting was with him avoiding their inquiring, and she said the only thing that wouldn't mention their marriage, "We've been through a lot in the future,"
"And we're still working on it," She stopped to find a possible answer to avoid another question thrown at her, "And I guess....right now...he doesn't want to admit it....but we need each other,"
She nervously went to rub her neck, old habit dies hard, as she shyly chuckles, "Well...it's more like I need him,"
"Oh," Allison made an O-face, understanding a little bit of what they meant to each other, "So are you guys..." Pausing to find the right words, "Together?"
It was a tough question to answer since she did leave him, but they didn't official separate, it was more of her taking a break after what had happened, after what she found out, "Yeah, something like that,"
She nodded her head, clearly desiring to be away from this topic, it was a sensitive subject for her to discuss. She hasn't even spoken to Five regarding it, the first time both of them had seen each other was today, when they had travel back to the past, to make sure the apocalypse wouldn't happen again.
"So...the bathroom is on the left, right?" Rebecca questioned, as she lifted a finger to point out of the door, hoping Allison had read that she didn't feel comfortable answering her questions about their relationship.
"Yeah," And she seemed to acknowledge the littlest fact she was prying too much into it because instead of asking a different issue she repeated the direction once more, "Just out of the door and take a left,"
